Damn the 2k KD’s are fire. I wonder if the pattern will be different on every pair like the “chill” and “hype” pairs? I’d assume it probably will be right?

The planet hoops pair was the same on all pairs... I have a feeling these 2k shoes might all be the same.

I haven’t been able to play in them to compare the zoom once the 13s are broken in but generally the zoom feels pretty similar to the 12s despite the double stacked forefoot zoom. I’ve been switching back and forth from my 12s and 13s just around the house and the 12s feel a little bouncier. It could be because they are broken in more and we’re used for actual basketball. I put on my Jordan 11 Space Jams after wearing the KD 12s and 13s for most of the day and they felt so hard and boring. I have been doing some jump rope and box jumps in both and the 13s feel more stable than the 12s. Cushion feels really similar when doing those activities.

Not gonna lie, these feel better on foot than the 12s. The cushion is a little stiffer out of the box than the 12, but I’m guessing they’ll soften up once they’re broken in. They feel more stable, and the lockdown is definitely better. Hoping I can get some run in them soon but first impressions are promising.

I think they insoles just need to be broken in. It's not your typical insole, it's more styrofoam feel to it. But it does break in nicely.

Whenever I compare zoom setups I always think about the zoom insoles in the Flightposite 3s. They kind of hurt my feet at first but then once they broke in they were so bouncy. Once the upper of my Flightposite 3s deteriorated I took the insoles out and put them in my golf shoes. It was amazing for a while but then they got a little wet during a round and the zoom bags ripped. The FP3s were bouncier than the KD 12 and the KD 13 so far, but I feel like the zoom setup is a distant relative because the only thing between my foot and the zoom bag was a cloth cover. The actual insole was a zoom bag encased in foam and it looks like there is a strobel board under the insole and above the top of the outsole. I wish they would make a true modern version of this cushioning setup and it put in a shoe like a KD or some new show instead of what we got in the Alphadunk. The FP3 is super ugly so I’m not really hoping for a retro, just wish this cushion could come back in a normal looking shoe.

I tried tts and I am gonna go up half a size. Id say go half size up for casual for sure. Even to ball I’m sticking with half sz up.

Hype pair finally came and damn these are small fitting.
Wish I could change the size of my Chill pair that I’m still waiting on being delivered to a UK 12.5 but on Nike there is no 12.5
Length is short but I feel it most across the toe box, these will give blisters on top of toes.
