My pair arrived

These definitely fit snug, but true to size. They look mad bulky and huge when you take them out the box, but the details on the shoe and box is nice. Zoom air in the forefoot is very responsive. Lastly, these shoes are HEAVY! They look good, though.

how does the overlay material feel? Is it a little stretchy? How does it compare to the material from the react element 87 upper?

The material is definitely stretchy. I never had the react 87’s, so I can’t compare them. The material is very smooth like.

If anyone starts playing them I'd like to know if the collar starts fraying there socks and how bad.
When you see close ups of the shoe on his feet at the ankle the socks are shredded where the collar lands.
Obviously swap socks Everytime you play just curious how bad if at all they are around the ankle.

Weight of the shoe never really bothers me, with the last few knit based uppers it’s mostly been the weaker containment that you get compared to like a mesh based upper that’s been my only concern. A good fit minimizes all that for me

Agreed. The heaviest lebrons have historically been the most comfortable really. Guess I'm gonna go ahead and order the sweat suit I'll be sure to post pics
