Nike script aka bot updated

Ok guys, lets see if we can figure this one out.

Download the script from this link.

https://github.com/hackin247/nike-bot/archive/master.zip

Install by following the instructions in this video (note: this is not my video and there is no need to rename files).

Once installed, open Chrome and click on the link below to test the script.  Make sure the size you pick is between 9 - 12 for this test.   I tried it just now and it works on my Chrome browser.

Repped.

So i got the bot to work with the default size. But when i change the size to 11.5 the extension doesn't work.

I'm using a mac and i edit the size with TextEdit. What am i doing wrong?

Hmm. Did everything as that video said and it's still not working. Could something be different with it beinga mac?

maybe idk. here's something that might be the problem.

when i open up autocart.js in Chrome it shows this:

View media item 697310
when i edit the size in TextEdit it looks like this:

View media item 697309
then when i open up the edited autocat.js in Chrome again, the size shows up like this:

View media item 697306
where did those random characters in the size section pop up from?

Worked for me, thanks. I'm not too well-versed in bots but wasn't there a fiasco where Nike was banning use from their site by using bots?

Mods: The community would greatly appreciate it if you could sticky this and move it to the right forum if it isn't already.

So I needed a short break from coding and decided to check in on NT.   Shame on people trying to sell scripts/bots taken from the open source community.   Help the sneakerhead community instead of raping it.   Ok enough of my rant...

I updated the open source chrome extension to work with the recent changes to Nike.com.    Fork the repo if you plan on updating the code or simply download the zip file and install the javascript as a unpacked chrome extension.   Link to my repo for the code and youtube instructions below.   Its easy to install and I tested this today with Laney's Jordan 1s on nike.com.   Assuming they use the same dom strucure, this should work for the TLO releases as well.   Good luck and don't forget to bump for others to see and hopefully cop their gammas this weekend.

Thanks

note: no need to rename any files.   Just set your size...

Good stuff fam..

This script with instructions should work well on a Mac since thats the computer I run.   I personally don't have experience with Windows 8 so I would appreciate windows users to help others.   Thanks

To those having problems having weird characters when editing the size, download sublime editor.   Its free and it should allow you to edit the .js file without issues.

Santa Claus is a Niketalker.

I hope this helps some people get their pairs this weekend.

Thanks op. Hopefully I can use this to learn some Java script. Is it really different from Java?

You edited the file and it probably didn't get reloaded in Chrome.

Try this.

1. Open Extensions in Chrome and click the little thrashcan icon to get rid of it.

2. Re-do the install by following the instructions on the video--this time user Sublime to edit the size.

not working for me, i have another bot combined with a twitter grabber that I bought this summer. The guy I bought it from was offering free updates, but he hasnt responded to me in over a month. Think I might post his script if he doesn't reply before the bred 1 release. Pretty sure he lurks on Niketalk too.

If you post it, I can probably fix it and opensource it assuming there are no IP issues.
