Being hipster is a way of life it's not something you claim to be.

I despise hipsters but my friends call me one. .

I shop at thrift stores because I dont believe/cant afford a 40$ shirt

I drink cheap beers/pbr because I cant afford buying 6-7$ beers at the bar (even though the rise in pbr fame has caused prices to rise)

I listen musicians that many have never heard of because I respect and dig the creativity that never makes it to the radio.

I have long hair and often times a funky looking beard because I cant cut my own hair, haircuts are usually over priced, and i dig having long hair.

Maybe I'm just a bum I dunno but these are things I do because it's just a part of my lifestyle not because of any trendiness that "hipsters" have made main stream.

dont buy anything well a good amount of stuff from a p and h and m....or urban outfitters, everything at those stores can be found at a thrift store/ flea market for far less just missing the name brand

a "Hipster" hang out in WIlliamsburg "Bedford", "Greenpoint" or "Grand" I lived near Greenpoint. If the people are COLD to you, silent, or just rude

it means they see through you and you're not what you think you are. If people are cool and conversational it means you're pretty much in tune with
the sub culture.

Please don't be one of these confused jokes like Wiz Khalifa that goes from 5x Tee's and Timbs to Dwayne Wanye sunglasses and claiming to be a "stoner"
with a plaid shirt and a backpack that doesn't make you a hipster...I really hate those dudes with a passion....like serious.
