i found out how to make it black and white in photoshop...is PS the only way?

Aren't you using Photoshop to make your avys? I don't have Photoshop so I can't help you... sorry. If you were using Ulead, have you triedclicking on the "Optimize" tab and lowering the "Color" option all the way down... or close to it?

Paul, no need to switch avys.

Click Images at the top of the page, upload the gif to the avatar section.

when it shows up, click on the gif, it will take u to the thumbnail page showing u the weight

see

Making avys with PS?
It's easier to just use imageready.

yea...imageready cs2 >>>>>>
imageready is built into cs3 so its garbage
i wish i still had it

its a pain makin avys in cs3, sometime i forget how to do it

thats why im trying to learn ulead

erm...this one the adriana lima

i ripped the video and took out what i didnt want etc...

made it black and white in PS

exported the video

took out every other frame in ulead because PS made the file bigger than it was...it added more frames i think

opened it back in photoshop and did the border,text and diagonal lines...

im sure the 2nd-4th steps and all that can be shortened i just gotta find out how...

I hate that too... I made a Stephen Jackson avy that I can't use in Yuku

I noticed, the brighter colors my Text and Neon Glow is, the more Yuku adds to the original weight.

thats why lately Ive been shaving my flashing texts to like 4-6 frames

you don't need ps. You can do it with Ulead. I don't have ulead so I can't do a tut for it.
