I've grown to appreciate dude.

Out of curiosity, if you replace Lebron with a replacement level player, OR if he was missing and both Love/Irving were healthy, do they even take two games from the Warriors?

The stats that were posted paint a certain picture, but let's be real...he had the whole damn team on his back.

Why people are still dwelling on MVPs?Scew and MVP, the game is played for the championship. Of course not Lebron he rather not make the playoff than loose in the finals, but he won't turn down his MVP trophy.

it kinda messes up Curry's HOF resume. it's going to look weird when he has 7 rings but only 6 finals MVP :{

Steph should've won the Finals MVP but you can't say it's some sort of travesty

Andre Iguodalas defense was crucial in this series...he held Lebron to 35 pct shooting and he was the team's most consistent player this series

No, nobody is ignoring that. He deserves credit. He wasn't more valuable than Steph Curry though.
They would've lost if his minutes was limited by still coming off the bench. He changed the whole dynamic of the series in GS favor when he was inserted into the starting lineup allowing him to flourish which in returns makes him more valuable. Don't get me wrong Steph's scoring and his scoring only was definitely appreciated and needed for GS to pull this off but Iggy has a bigger impact in them winning in this 6 game series.

Didn't realize NBA provides that level of detailed stats. Seeing the number of uncontested rebounds, I wish 538 or someone could quantify the importance of a defensive rebound. In my opinion, defensive rebounds are the result of spacing and not skill. Offensive rebounds are different. Tristan Thompson had skill and effort. That was impressive rebounding.

No one is denying LeBron is a great player. He moved up in my All Time Rankings a few spots. But in no means was this an All Time Great Finals Performance. That's what is being pointed out.

Also by saying you replace him with a replacement level player is also disingenuous. Let's replace LeBron with DeMarre Carroll, because of course that makes sense.

But let's say you replace LeBron with healthy KD.. Do the Cavs win one? Likely.

And if no LeBron, and you have Kyrie & Love from Game 1 - Game 6.. I'm willing to bet somewhere they steal a game.

Just realized, Lebron has spent 1/2 of his career in the Finals. King stuff!
Chew on that stat but remind us how weak the East is first.

I honestly think lebron gave up this game 6 because he didn't want some of those bums to get a ring of his muscle. Not saying he could've came out of nowhere and saved the day but once he realized everything was going down hill he used his teammates as a human shield. Iman Shumpert is so trash it doesn't even make sense
the hell?!

Seriously what happened to his FT shot?

Same thing I was wondering last night, I don't recall Iggy's FT shooting being this bad in Philly or Den :lol

Was 74.5% FT shooter and then started to dip in 2011-12 in Philly

2011-12: 61.7%
2012-13: 57.4%
2013-14: 65.2%, so he was coming back to the mean, then regressed
2014-15: 59.6%

Did he develop the yips or something?

Repped. :hat

Dude literally was almost always bigger than every warrior player on the court and still failed to shoot 40%.

I don't know what finals you all watched but Iggy was the most important man on the floor. Curry got his but those numbers are so inflated. He had one legitimately good game in game 5 where he straight up balled out. He hit some timely shots here and there for sure, but there were so many times he was just taken out of the game, same with Klay. That dude was a zero to me in this series. But the instant they started Iggy that dude went HAM and straight up took over. He got dared to shoot and made them pay, and on the other side of the court he defense was incredible. If he doesn't get inserted as a starter and play heavy minutes, Warriors don't win this series, period. He was one of the most deserving FInals MVPs I've seen. I was going to be pissed if they gave it to Steph or Bron and I'm a Bron fan and can recognize who was most deserving.

Tristan Thompson is definitely getting his money this offseason.

Put up just under 12 PPG/13 RPG during the Finals. His best performance came with three straight losses however.

I'll say it again...whoever's idea it was to double team Curry on every single high pick and roll is the main reason the Cavs lost this series. I refuse to believe LeBron would be the idiot to continuously do that over and over and over again.

The "adjustments" were awful throughout the entire series. Mozgov went from dropping 28 points one game to the next game Blatt just saying "ummm yeah I'm just not going to play him at all" to him saying "ummm yeah maybe I should just play him the whole game."

Also, Perkins is awful but I thought they should have at least gave him a few minutes here and there to give some hard fouls on Draymond, Curry, Klay, Iggy, whoever. Hell if you're not going to play him they could have at least used him to give a statement foul. Marion and Joe Harris should have checked in a few times as well. JR and Shumpert were missing everything and getting roasted...those guys couldn't have done much worse. Joe Harris went from starting a few games at the beginning of the year to being the towel boy the whole playoffs. He could have gave them another shooter.

i didnt have too much a problem with his performance last night until he watched curry come prancing down the lane and literally gave him the open layup.  that is called giving up ladies and gentlemen.  if dude was actually trying to win and not just doing enough to avoid criticism than it might have actually been a game once jr started hitting those threes

if that's the case .. west went to the finals 9 times in 14 years.

However Bill Russell won 11 out of his 13 years playing career.

Come on dude ... That stat ain't impressive. ..
