NT How many days before the deadline do you start your papers?

I optimistically want to get it done right away, but since this isn't really the case, here's what usually goes down:

If it's only one paper: 12-36 hours before the deadline

If there are multiple papers due that day: doing the 2nd (or 3rd or 4th) maybe 2-6 hours before the deadline.

But of course I do the first three a little bit earlier. Coffee and energy drinks are your friend, OP.

I actually try to do 500 words a day if its the typical five pager...makes life easier

Depends on the length:
1-3 pages: Finish right before class starts
4-5: Prepare the night before, start writing in the morning
6-8: Pull all nighter
