I used to go to the YMCA and they charged $20 a month for those who were 20 and younger. Now I have no gym with a vacant summer. Any recommendations?

YMCA but im thinking about switching it up for the summer since i can't stand all the little kids running around...
oh and if you tell them you're broke/a recent grad/whatever then they'll lower the membership fees for you. they were trying to charge me like $50-80 a month or some nonsense, got them down to $30

i gave my fitness club membership up to a buddy of mine since my annual renewal was almost as cheap as what he was paying a month.
only gym i go to now is for martial arts, Werdum Combat Team - $160/mo.

lifetime fitness. i kinda wish it was more rugged and dark like powerhouse though. i go hard in the weight room, soo i actually prefer less distractions. but its all thats around here. it's cool too though, there's a decent bball league they run across country. it's cool. ex nba players and football guys are in it (penny hardaway and don mcnabb) so thats a plus i guess. and there's some real bad females there as well, but again, that feeds into the distraction aspect while i'm lifting lol

I use a local gym, but I've heard good things about LA. Not a Gold's Gym fan.
