Bret Hart vs Stone Cold vs Undertaker vs Vader
No DQ, can win by Pin/Submission or going over the top rope like the Royal Rumble due to the Rumble shenanigans.
Told multiple stories with Bret vs Austin, looked like it was the real build of Vader being an absolute beast - was hitting hard and took some bad ones like a champ, Vader’s eye being busted open, Steve in prime condition, the work between all four was excellent. They all looked like they were competent main eventers, no one looked weak or lost as a lesser than guy. It was believable that any of the four could have won.
Taker absolutely botches a stunner spot which was hilarious. Vader botches a whip into the corner and Brock’s Austin. All were really due to the pace these guys were going at. Paul hits Taker with the Urn, an hit so hard it would make Hogan swinging a chair blush. Even had Sid shots in the back looking at a TV the only way a WWF wrestler can. All were funny.
They just beat the hell out of each other. Selling wasn’t strong in this match until midway when they were legit getting tired. It was there but there sure was a lot of walk throughs. Was a proper 4 Way from an action point, no one laid outside the ring for 20 minutes - it was all go. Someone or something mentioned this awhile ago, I forgot all about this match and rewatched it. Very enjoyable.
