Knicks come out the East this year, they can finally make Lebron vs Carmelo that Magic vs Bird rivalry like they wanted to when they first came in the league. They gone be going at it for years.

Finally caught up. Few things:
- Lol @ Tim Teufel. Jig been up on son. Easily one of the worst posters/trolls in here.
- Glad Melo is back. I hope those of you who had your panties in a bunch the whole time see how foolish it was to do anything but sit back and let the man make his decision.
- From the one summer league game I've watched I'm already excited about our young prospects. Early looks like he'll be a contributor. And I've been saying it since last year but Junya really has potential to be a very good starter. He definitely put on some weight and all he has to do is sure up his defense. Doesn't need to be a lockdown defender, just can't be a sieve.
- I don't know, it may be just me, but I think Jeremy Tyler has untapped potential. I want him to be a rotation player. Cole Aldrich is starting to show up too.
- We absolutely need JR. At least in the short term. There aren't many moves that can be made that can bring us what we need from him. We're better off just trying to get it out of him for the moment.
- What's going on with Stat? It's been a little too quiet on that front. I hope he's still got a chip on his shoulder. We're going to need him to play well so hopefully we can use him in a trade.
- I really expect a lot of the circumstances that caused us to have a poor record last year to be alleviated next year. If we pull together there's no reason why we can't have a good year. I've never been a Phil Jackson guy but the one thing he's been known to bring and I'm expecting to get out of him, is cohesive effort from egos on his teams. I think that's a big part of why we let Tyson go. For all his ego he just didn't give very much effort at all most of last year. It was really egregious for a champion to play like that.

And as far us not needing J.R. I hope not before too long we go after Affalo cuz he's consistent and better than J.R. for sure and has only gotten better.

Also, if we play Aldrich for significant minutes, we are asking to lose.
Only can play around 16-24 a game. No long stints. Energy player. We for sure need another big for offensive purposes as well as bodying up the opposing bigs.

I am not excited at all by summer league performances, remember Super Cool Beas was doing work in the summer league

im kinda hyped for the season... if amare is healthy then the knicks will do good because you cant rely on bargs or an erratic jr 
but i hope we use that midlevel 3.5 on a decent center/pf...and i would trade shump before his vales goes down... i think they signed cole to a deal though
havent seen all of vegas games but highlights of early is pretty good and thats a steal draft pick

I see Tyler is shutting me up with a nice little performance today. Still dont like him. By "fake potential" I mean 3 teams in his first 3 years. Clearly something is wrong here.
