I got a pair of the white 2s to actually get shipped to SX in a 9.5. Definitely will be using a legit check site for these, maybe 2. Size 9.5 weren’t even available anywhere but the actual OW site as far as I know.

The price diff on goat vs sx is about $400. I think your odds of getting a legit pair on either is about a coin flip vs anyone else. Gl.

I would always assume so. Esp for sizes that weren’t dropped on Snkrs like mine, I’d say the risk of a fake is way higher. I’ve only seen Rupacs video on his cross da waters
but they looked decent.

From all the videos I’ve watched the biggest tell is the line in the grey midsole that goes across the top of the midsole, the lace bags and thickness of laces and red line in the lace bag, and obv the alligator needs to be deep.

From what I’ve seen I’d agree. Should be easy to spot but you never know. I’ll still use check check just for peace of mind.

that price was ridiculous. I’m not trying to drop 1k (fees included) on them. I might circle back around and cop them if I flip a ma maniere 3s I got for retail. I might not do that and just hold on to them but I’m def not eating the whole 1k for them.

There’s almost always ways to tell fakes though, especially if they’re DS. Smell of the shoe, YCM sticker, insole stitching, box label, shoe label, shoe shape, accessories, quality of the shoe. You can black light to check for stamps and stitch guide lines.

So glad the white colorway of the 2 is getting its shine. Most people didnt like this colorway before because they lacked the mental capacity to process its beauty. The way Virg was able to put it in layman's terms so to speak so that the average consumer was able to appreciate it is welcoming. It may be the best shoe Virgils done. It's easier to make an already well liked shoe hot but when you get a shoe like this hot, you did something.

It was hard to like any of the 2s they were putting out though. Details were wrong. Horrible shape, etc. Virgil pretty much just gave us what the shoe used to be, with some incredible added details of his own that makes them a little more interesting and thought provoking.
