About time he had a good game. I've been disappointed with him thus far in the season.
Sefelosa has been locking up SGs so James hasn't been able to get minutes.

He may very well be the next Ginobili and come off the bench to provide a spark.

-ok houston is the real deal, they will be fighting for a low seed playoff spot

-didnt have faith in the raptors when yall was hyping them up in the offseason and still dont

-OKC needs a real PF

-what happened to Michael Beasley jump shot? not sure if he did much shooting this summer so he may find it later on in the season

Monta Ellis wants a trade now?

Last time I checked everybody was skeptical.

Orlando just came out fired up...they remembered that last beating they took from OKC. Jeff and KD were just off...pretty much the whole first 5 were.

I did. I said they could be the 4 seed. *shrugs*

Jamison looked like he never missed a second this season.

Wonder how many articles Bron will milk outta his wrist. We may hear about it from him for the next 2-8 months.

Agree with Shuges, the hell happened to OKC last night?

I was dead on about Dallas v San Antonio. I'll say it again, Spurs in a second of a back to back, better win tonight vs the Jazz. They can't keeplosing these games. I know Pop doesn't worry about anything until the rodeo, but he ain't tryna go thru the West without HC and have to play LA, Den,Port etc in the damn first round. That's a suicide mission.
laugh.gif

Pau back tonight. Bout @#$%^& time.

Dirk was on it last night. I can only imagine the MVP wars bout to break out later on this year.

I think I'm gonna start the thread before Christmas this year. Prollyhave about 7-8 candidates. Bron, Kobe, Wade, D12, Dirk, and Melo. Of all of these, D12 is the only one not lighting it up. But he'll get there.

Hmmmm.......Oden with 6 and 10 and a -15 on the court in 24 minutes. Joel Pryz with 6 and 5 with a + 19 in the same 24 minutes. Interesting.
Oden with 2 double doubles this season......Bynum with 8 in just 9 games. I wish some of those Portland fans would come hang out in here for a few, I'denjoy that.

My man Jonfarr claimin there isn't another center in the NBA he would take over Greg Oden.

I have a question for you guys:

What team and what role do you think Larry Hughes can flourish in?

22 pts, 10 rebs, 7 assts, 3 stls, 1 blk, 7-8 ft, 3-5 3p, 6-14 shooting overall last night against the Pacers.

Other than the rebounds, these are the type of numbers I've always envisioned this guy putting up.

Way back when he was a "Flight Brother".... I've always liked his game.

But he has never been able to maximize his potential. Phi, GS, Was, Cle, Chi, NY.... He always seems to play well in spurts but gets traded as soon as heCONSISTENTLY shows signs of being a very good pro. It's like teams wait for his trade value to go up and then get rid of him.

The funny thing is, he is a better fit (or much less expensive fit with similar production) in some of those places that he was traded from than the guys theycurrently have there. Was, Chi, Cle, GS, etc...

And as far as I know, I don't think he has attitude issues.

So again, what team and what role do you think Larry Hughes can flourish in??

Hughes shined in Washington...they didn't want him to go but he left for the dollars Cleveland gave him and had some lackluster injury filled seasons.

duh OKC needs a pf. I've been saying it for a while, but people think I'm hatin on them when I say it. Lol

where do you all think marc gasol rank in terms of centers at the end of the season? I see him being top 10.

Put him with Steve Nash and it'll be lights out. Trust me.

But serious, I agree with what Nas said. I think he has to have the ball to be effective. I also think he has to play on a bad team. IE, no pressure, no bigmoments, just go out there and stat stuff. I don't think he is a guy built for big key games. My belief anyways.

He is not athletic enough to matter much anymore.

Can't finish at the rim, gets no lift on his shot.

I think Marc's top ten right now. There are a few centers that are clearly better than him, but most are about the same.

Drafting Thabeet looks even dumber now

Alexander Wants Trade Out Of Milwaukee

Since the Bucks declined Joe Alexander's option for the 2010-11 season, he would welcome a trade out of Milwaukee.
"They made it pretty clear that they don't see me having a future here,'' said Alexander, the No. 8 pick in the 2008 draft. "So I'm assuming a trade would definitely be one of the options.''

Alexander then was asked if he would welcome a trade.

"I mean, yeah," he said. "If they don't want me, if they don't see a future with me here, that really is the only other option."

John Hammon said "absolutely" there's a chance he could be re-signed for next season.

"We're hoping that once he becomes healthy he can help our team," Hammond said of this season. "His job is to help us win games. And we hope he is capable of doing that."

Don't gloat too much allen
laugh.gif
.

Bucks could turn Alexander and a couple of their other expirings (Hakim Warrick, Luke Ridnour, Kurt Thomas, Francisco Elson) to something nice if they'rewilling to pay

Top 10?

Maybe top 5?

Nene
Bynum
Dwight
Brook
Horford? Kaman? Emeka? Andrea? Marc?

Haywood, Hibbert, and Joakim need some love too.

Bogut has been playin well this year hasn't he? Seems like whenever I see him he's playin off BJ pretty good. Fully healthy? Or just no more focusof being the top player on the team?

Maybe no more Charlie V, yeah, that must be it.
laugh.gif

I didn't want to call him top 10 now because I wouldve been called ahomer. Lol.

I just can't believe his play this season. The lost weight really turned him into somebody who could really dominate down low. He has the attitude, iq,vision, midrange, back to the basket, rebounding, etc. I'll like to see him finish within the top 3 in rebounds and double doubles

Of course it's meaningless, it's one game, and one in which they won. But if you traveled thru the Oden thread, my point was someone was jumpin up anddown after his 18 and 11 a while back, and I'm not you came thru and said Oden would be back to 6 and 8's in no time.
laugh.gif

Which is why I put that in there.

Dwight, Bynum, Duncan (I consider him a center) and I guess Kaman are better than him.

Everybody else is in the same tier or below to me, for now anyways.
