If they're not undefeated, then they've been defeated.
So who have they lost to?
No one.
They're undefeated.
As of right now, today, the 2007-2008 Patriots are undefeated.
Now, have they completed an undefeated season? No, because the 2007-2008 NFL season is not over.
But they ARE undefeated (as of right now, but that can change), and they DO have an undefeated regular season (as of right now, and that will never change).

Agreed.
I'm not saying, "They're the Champions! It's over! Give 'em their trophy!"
Never that.
I was simply debating the argument that they're NOT undefeated right now.
They are.
Seriously, some of you are trying too hard (to make sure you stay hating).
No, that's not directed at any one in particular.
No, not even you.
Agreed.Originally Posted by 23ska909red02

Eli Manning on the other hand...hmm...
Manning should feel thankful because NY still got Isiah Thomas to *%%++ about....
slap

hey i live in boston and am a pats fan too... but i'm not gonna call them undefeated.... cuz the word "defeated" becomes relevant only when there is nothing left to play for... when the season is finally over, one way or another.
but anyways, this is pointless arguing over this. let's just enjoy this and look forward to playoffs.....
Actually, the fact that you're a Pats fan does change things. I was going to say, "Well, 'undefeated' to YOU might mean 'youhave nothing left to play and you have not been beaten', but that doesn't mean that's what the actual definition is. The actual definition issimply 'victorious all the time'. And this season, the Patriots have been victorious, all the time," but I see where you're coming from now.
You're just trying not to crown your team prematurely over an awesome but meaningless perfect regular season mark.
Gotcha.
I'd be the same way if I were in your shoes.
we'll see how much of an advantage Foxborough is when(if!) its pouring snow, and the wind is gusting....Originally Posted by iNiNe5

these guys practice in those conditions..... those thinking that the pats "homefield" advantage is really a "homefield-disadvantage" should think again....

I'm not saying its a disadvantage...but its tough to throw the ball in the conditions in which I described.....what does practice have to do when the wind is blowing everything out of the air??

you think the pats only practice long 50 yard bombs to moss....SMH.... they can change the gameplan, make adjustments as good as any team... the pats can run, dink-and-dunk of they need to....
i know the jags beat the steelers in pittsburgh in snowy weather, i know..... but the steelers are NOT the 16-0 new england patriots....
