WHY IS ISIAH ENDORSING ANYONE

i $+!#$$@ hate this team so damn much

Remember Back to the Future II when Old Biff got a hold of the Delorean...Isiah in the driver's seat now.

But I agree with Los, any type of hard cap isn't gonna massacre the Lakers, Mavs, Cs or Heat.

I think we'll be alright with the new CBA. I find it hard to believe a hard cap of $40MM-$50MM will be set with out rolling back salaries.
And no way players rollback salaries. That's some bs.

you in the league or something? thats a GOOD thing for us if they do

yeah but they will end up in Europe beofre doing that. why make 14 million when you can make 44 million with less taxes (superstars)

@#%* is gonna get serious

Man, I hate to repeat myself but how the %%!# does Dolan let this @+!@ happen. I'm not even talking just Donnie, in general. Potentially we have the most excitement we've had going into a season next year, and not ONE person is saying, "man what a good year we had, Melo, Amar'e, can't wait till next year." This #*%%$*% idiot Dolan has found a way to kill ALL momentum this team built through out the spring in this city. Is there a worse owner? Not just of a sports franchise, but in general? I mean yea, the Wilpons are shady, greasy goons but this dude Dolan is cut from a different cloth.

Some of y'all got some real good ideas and ideal scenarios that would be great if they played out this summer...but as I said before the Melo trade, unfortunately, there comes a point where personnel, coaching, front office management take the shape of their leader, whether it's a blue collar business, white collar business, or a sports franchise. Organizations always reflect the culture created by the owners. IMO there is no way in hell that Dolan can continue to act like this and for the Knicks to be successful, this just proved it for me. Was this not the best season we've had in nearly a decade? Right after the season ended were we not all planning out what needed to be done to add to this team? I personally couldn't wait for the end of October to come, hopefully without a strike. Now this is just the same @+!@ as every summer in the last 10 years...this #*%%$*% %#$@!*+ Dolan has found a way to take the spot light and ruin everything. Yes we still have Melo, Amar'e, promising role players in TD and Fields, but man, what kinda @+!@ is Dolan on? %%!# this guy x 100

Seriously, there's no way the player's union agrees to giving up money that was legally guaranteed to them, and it'll be a disgrace if a US court allows it.

While Knicks fans fret about the possibility of Isiah Thomas returning to New York, the Detroit Pistons are considering Thomas for their vacant head coaching position, according to league sources.

Thomas is not the leading candidate, sources say, but he is on Detroit's short list along with Mike Woodson, Kelvin Sampson and his former Pistons teammate Bill Laimbeer.

ORLY?

i agree with your rant ruffryda

i went from super optimistic and happy to being angry and disappointed

Yeah no way rollbacks are allowed.

@RuffRyda I'm already expecting more but given the circumstances even before focusing back on Dolan things didn't look the brightest. Just hope we're in the ECF if there's a season. It's a balance of being realistic and the delusional hopes of the NBA giving us CP3 and an improved bench.

EDIT

I swear I was thinking about Isiah going back to DET to coach when I was discussing him with the GR8 once I saw Kuester was let go.

I just can see Dumars doing it. Laimbeer is a dark horse.

apparently its not gonna happen but just saying... the Pistons from their championship teams in like 2004 until now remind me of how we %@!+++ up our entire team from 1999 over the following years.

I mean from dumb signings (Gordon, Villanueva, etc/Shannon Anderson, Howard Eisley, etc, etc) to over paying immensely their 2 guard to the point where hes just empty cap space (Rip Hamilton/Allan Houston), ******edly trading their best player/heart of the team (Billups for AI/Spree for KVG
30t6p3b.gif
), i mean even them passing up Melo for Darko when they were good is a similar move to us passing up Artest when we were good for Frederic Weis
laugh.gif
, and now theyre looking at Isiah
eek.gif
... their signings and personnel moves have just been
sick.gif

If if it did though...
laugh.gif

Dumars would have one hell of a resume, Darko, Gordon + Charlie....Isiah??

lmao

Sucessful summer for me

- Sign Grant Hill vet min... let Amare do the recruiting
- Sign Battier... doubt he'll leave Memphis tho
- Sign Dalembert
- Find a way to get R. Hamilton or Wilson Chandler (preferably Chandler)
- Buy some picks cuz idk how else we'll fill out the roster
- Hire a defensive assistant
- See if Jerome Jordan can contribute this season

Whoever is GM has major work to to this summer.. ill be cool with Warkenstein or Pritchard Nuggets and Blazers were stacked with talent

Like where your head is at but I don't think one of those has a chance of happening.

klay thompson = kevin martin and at #17 i'll gladly take that. We're still gonna suck defensively though

Grant Hill and Dalembert is likely... W. Chandler will depend on the CBA. R Hamilton just makes a lot of sense but we'll see what happens with him and his situation firstWe have no assests to trade for anyone unless we get a steal w/ a pick or trade fields.

Yeah I agree with that list but I see our future GM unfortunately/fortunately making moves during the season cuz I don't know how much any GM could accomplish this off season after the new CBA. So new steady roster for Pringles (or whoever is our coach) is what I got a hunch on.

I'd rather make a move for Nash and Hill.

I've grown a liking to Marshon Brooks. Wouldn't mind if he fell to us.

I guarantee whoever you guys draft will be traded by the deadline along with Billups and Fields possibly.

hamilton will play VERY well with billups...

it would be a great fit.

billups
hamilton
melo
amare
*and sign a real center

or

billups
fields
hamilton
melo
amare

Ummm where are yall getting the idea that the knicks are gonna be able to sign 3 valuable role players with a only a Mid-level of 5.74 mil

Hill is the only guy i can see taking the vet min and thats only to a championship team, which this team isnt yet

Dalambert although not really good is a shot blocking big man who is only 31 and a legit 7 footer hes NOT taking a contract for less than 3-4 mil a year. Also I def see the heat throwing most of their MLE at him

Rip same situation as Hill only hes a bit younger and with teams like L.A, MIA, CHI all needing someone with his capabilities i dont see him signing with the knicks either (only hope is that he really likes playing wit chauncey that much)

NY's best bet is to draft faried, but a late first rounder and try to pick up a pg if not just another scorer in general.

Use the MLE on a big and this team is top 4 in the east

Never said we can afford all, and we don't know if a MLE would exist.. this is just things I hope that happens. Not all but some

anybody else sick with knick fans rooting for the heat ?

i work with alot of basketball fans and so called knick fans, i swear they're all lebron lovers rooting for the heat. am i the only one who finds this sickening ?

i'm keeping tabs on all of em, they aint allowed to root for the knicks in front of me without me calling em out on they're so called fandom .......

anyone else share my disgust with these fakers ?
