**Official '11 NYK LOCKOUT thread*** lockout over

I've always loved Chauncey Billups, but that's going to be weird. Maybe he'll be good for Toney Douglas. But I'm going to miss Raymond Felton.

That's whats iffy to me. I'm pretty sure Billups would wanna stay in Denver since it's home. It would be stupid to move Felton if Billups wasn't willing to stay. We would be %+%@%! if Paul or Williams doesn't sign with us.

I haven't heard anything but why in the hell would he not want to run point for Amar'e and Melo? If he doesn't want to play with them, son is a buffoon then

Our leverage just hit negative numbers

I dont understand how we would get CP3, if we do this trade.... Melo + Amare will eat up
more than $40M that season, and we don't know how the CBA will work out

The whole point in getting a steal for Melo or for him to sign this summer is to use those assets for CP3. smh

I still don't understand how we're the desperate ones. They're the ones who have to make something out of nothing.

He has his rings and he was born and raised in Denver. He wants to finish his career there.

I don't see how the Nuggets would benefit from sending 2 of the Knicks they acquire to the Nets for 2 draft picks from one of the weakest draft classes in the past decade...George Karl is pushing them to trade with the Knicks because our package would keep them competitive this season, so how would that be true if they sent 2 of those players to the Nets? You send Melo's 25ppg and Billups 17ppg to the Knicks and all you get is Chandler and Felton, plus 2 draft picks? Sounds dumb to me..I think the Nets are just trying to make the Knicks hesitate to trade Gallo knowing he might end up in NJ to a rival team

He wouldnt play in NJ w/ Melo and no one else. I'm sure he would stay in NY with Melo & Amare.. but would probably go back to Denver after

apparently billups doesn't wanna play in nj or ny and would prefer a buyout and go to miami even if that means he has to take the veteran's minimum. i don't even know why felton and billups are involved. well then again denver isn't trying to pay him and felton is going to get flipped for a pick from nj

I was under the impression that Billups does not want to go anywhere (NY, NJ, etc) as he is from Denver and wants to finish his career there., and eventually get a front office gig of some sort.He has his ring already, and even if he went to NY with Melo, NY is still not winning the title this season, so essentially he is giving up playing at home where he is comfortable, for 3 months in NY with Melo and Amare, because NY will not re-sign him after the season.

I hope all these reports about dolan and isiah is speculation...

Nets didn't wanna give up everybody for Melo. Then Denver threatened NJ that they would trade Melo to the Knicks

Now these dudes threatened us that they would trade him to NJ ?

These dudes are just tryna thug us.. hope we don't let that happen

Curry, Chandler, 2014 pick, pick from AR, Bill Walker should be the trade. And tell Chandler to sign with us in the summer. Trade Turiaf

The Carmelo Anthony trade saga is nearly over.

Indications are that a trade is imminent with the New York Knicks, with only minor details to be worked out before an agreement isreached, a league source said.

Anthony was not at the Nuggets' practice tonight, as they resumed workouts following the All-Star break.

Antyony tweeted earlier in the day that he was "Headed to Burbank tofilm THE CONAN SHOW." But it was unclear when the segment was taped fortonight's airing.

Multiple outlets, including Yahoo Sports, reported Monday night that the deal was near complete.
