you're not getting kaman for ty thom. or if you do, it'd be an absolute steal. the kaveman is back.Originally Posted by PatentBoy23
Who can I pick up for Calderon or D Rose??? Many of the notable free agents are picked up e.g. Jennings, Gallanari, & Frye. I just picked up Hibbert again after he broke out 2nite and had to drop J Thompson for him. good idea? Any help would be appreciated. I've offered Rose up for B. Gordon, E. Gordon, Westbrook, and Jameer (separate trades). Tyrus Thomas for Kaman too. I know I'm lacking in 3PM and PTs.
PG-Paul, Calderon, Rose, Rondo
Sg- Allen
SF- Peja, Rashard, Grant Hill
PF- Tyrus Thomas, Kenyon Martin
C- HIbbert, Hoford, M. Gasol
Corey Brewer will get you tons of periphs (at the sacrifice of %ages. Augustin is always a good bet too. and looks like Sessions is gonna besplitting the PG spot.Originally Posted by RFX45
That's what I'm thinking too but with Crawford in ATL, Marvin Williams won't be seeing much pt's though it seems.
As for Jason Thompson, dude hasn't shown much yet and I am not 100% confidence he will.
What about Maggette? There are still plenty of possible decent pick ups on the FA list like Augustin, Haywood, Sessions, C. Brewer and maybe even Dampier for blocking purposes.
This one league is weird that they do not have to's as a factor so CP and Nash doesn't have any drawbacks.
smoove for calderon? good luck with that.Originally Posted by PatentBoy23
haha i'm so loaded at pg cuz i messed with the pre-rankings, thinking i wouldn't get those players and the autopick ended up drafting them. wut do you guys suggest I do to upgrade my team?? Although their stats are much diff, Tyrus is a 6th/7th round pick on avg., whereas Kaman is a 8th round so I thought it was a lil fair. Oh yeah I'm thinking about trading Calderon for Josh Smith, but I'm afraid Calderon's FT% will shoot up and I will end up missing out.
trash = someone not equally as good. actually now that i think about it., calderon and thomas is overpaying for smoove.Originally Posted by PatentBoy23

I can find points on the waiver as someone just dropped nat rob, so I can probably pick him up once he comes back
That's the only thing that concerns me with both agent 0 and bynum, injury prone like crazy. I agree with your points about roy, blake, andandre miller all in that backcourt, too many mouths to feed and not enough touches. I hope nat mcmillian puts him in the starting lineup, he is no backup PG asI think steve blake fits that position better.Originally Posted by RFX45

I think you will get much better return with that trade. The only downside are that Arenas and Bynum are injury prone, you'll never know if they'll be out later in the season and that might just be your biggest selling point on getting both.
I have Miller and West in one of teams and Miller hasn't done much, maybe if the Blazers keep losing he'll start over Blake? Then again, with Roy in the line-up, Miller might never be the same as he was in Philly. He just won't handle the ball as much with Blake and Roy in the team. As for West, he hasn't dropped big numbers yet but there really isn't much options for the Hornets so he'll contribute one way or the other.
I just dropped Tyrus for J Thompson. Good move? I think JT will have a solid season and will continue to be a solid player throughout the season. on top of tht, he gets more mins than Tyrus and ppg (as of now).
whats the rest of your team look like?Originally Posted by thaSOLEful1
