I'm trying to get rid of my extra PGs and pick up a beastly center. I mite go for Jefferson or Duncan because I doubt I'll get D12. My league saysGrant Hill is ranked #9 at SF whic his hard to believe, but oh well he has to go.

Did you mean to make the draft this morning on purpose or did you not change the am/pm option? And 3 bench spots is weak.

You have some injuries. Kevin Love and Dunleavy on your team. Maggette's always an injury concern. I'm not sure on how Johnny Flynn willdo in the NBA so he'll be a wild card IMO. When healthy, I really like Kevin Love and Mike Dunleavy. Let's hope they come back healthy without anysetbacks. Other than that, I think your team lacks in blocks. Another thing is your lack of 3pt shooters. Westbrook, Elis, Maggette, and Ridnour aren'treally threats from out there. Hakim Warrick wasn't drafted in my league. I actually don't know if he'll have much production this year withplayers like Mayo, Gay, Iverson, and Z-Bo dominating the ball.

I like that you picked up Hibbert. I'm expecting good things from his this year. I think Rondo's going to have a better year this year andhe gives you steals, assists, FG%, and he's a good rebounder from the PG position. I'm still not sure if Flynn or Sessions is going to start at PG forMinny. Last I heard, Flynn's starting and Sessions is the back up
ohwell.gif
. It might change later on down the road, but I'm not liking that Sessions withoutstarter's minutes. I hope I'm wrong because I want to see Sessions succeed though.

Blocks and rebounds look to be a lock with Howard, Murphy, Bynum, Odom's 8 RPG, and Kidd helps with boards from the PG position. 3's arecovered with Kidd, VC, Hedo, Murphy, Chalmers, and Duhon. You might struggle with points. Vince looks to take a hit with his move to the stacked Magic,Kidd's never been a big scorer, Hedo's a 17 PPG kind of guy, and the rest of your players aren't big scorers either so that might be a categoryyou're lacking in.

I really like your Gilbert, James, Lopez, Jamison picks. You know what to expect from them. Thompson and Scola are sleepers. Overall very, verysolid team.

I like Al Jefferson. Dude's going to beast this season, I think even more now that Love's hurt so there's more opportunity for him tograb boards and stuff like that. Salmons is undervalued IMO. Hedo can help out with 3's, assists, and points. I'm liking the Aldridge pick also.

You have a good amount of blocks with Jefferson, Dalembert, Hawes, and Aldridge. You might struggle with assists. I like Hedo because he would help out in thatcategory from the SF position, but you might be in the middle of the pack with assists in your league.

I like what you did. However, for a 10-man league, I think Kendrick Perkins is FA material. Tayshawn doesn't really excel in any category sohe might be expendable. Try to pick up another assist guy or another position/category you're lacking in.

Steph Curry is still sort of a risky pick. I'm a Warriors fan so I can tell you what I think. I think Steph Curry will do well when he plays. However, Idon't know exactly how much he'll play. I know Don Nelson has said that he'll live with putting Curry out there and letting him learn through hismistakes, but Don Nelson has never been a fan of that. So... yeah. I'd keep Curry on your team and just wait it out. My gut feeling is that Curry willplay, but there is always that doubt with Nelson. Also, Curry's struggling with his shot. A lot of people aren't concerned with it, but it'ssomething to take under consideration. He's supposed to be a shooter, so yeah, his game starts and stops with his jumper. His jumper makes it easier forhim to drive into the lane and everything else.

I like what you did getting Wade and Rondo. You're going to do well in the steals category. Wade, Melo, Duncan, Ginobili, and a bunch of otherscorers, you're going to be very competitive in the scoring category. Wade and Rondo will also be very good for you in the assist category. I'dprobably get another assist guy to solidify the assist category. I'm not sure on Tyreke Evans. I don't know how he'll do so he could be a wildcard.

One thing I might consider is using Duncan and Ginobili as trade pieces. Popovich knows he's got to get this team ready for the playoffs. Watch out forGinobili and Duncan to get some DNP-CD's later on down the road.

Ok, now my turn
laugh.gif
. Thoughts on my team? I just drafted today. It's a 10-man H2H money league.

I'm thinking about trading a big man for another PG with assists and 3pters. I missed out on Rondo and Monta so I gave up on the steals category

Al JeffersonF/CSidelinedOct 17achillesDay-to-day

Latest News:
Al Jefferson is out indefinitely with Achilles tendinitis and information about his condition is scarce. Jefferson traveled with the team to Denver but won't play against the Nuggets. "It all depends on...the treatments and the medication and whatever they're doing for him," Rambis said. "It all depends how quickly it affects it." The Wolves' frontcourt is in shambles at the moment, and we're just hoping Big Al's injury isn't long-term.

Mon, Oct 19
Jefferson (Achilles) did not practice on Monday, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Recommendation: He'll likely miss Tuesday's preseason game, but it's not clear if he's just being rested or if this is an injury that jeopardizes his status for the start of the regular season.
