Can yall rate my team for me? I'm in a 12 person league with just 3 bench spots and 1 IR. I've always played in a H2H league where you hadto win statistical categories, but this leagues scoring is a little different:

RuleApply To
3 extra points when total Field Goal Percentage Points is greater than or equal to 50ALL
1 point for every 2 Free Throws Made (0.5 per)ALL

2 points for every 3 Rebounds (0.67 per)ALL
3 points for every 2 Assists (1.5 per)ALL
-1 point for every TurnoverALL

7 points for every Triple DoubleALL

Although Al Jefferson missed Tuesday's exhibition with Achilles tendinitis and the flu, coach Kurt Rambis said he could have played if it were "an important ballgame."

Rambis said he expects Jefferson to play in the regular season opener, though his status for Friday's final exhibition is still unclear. This is wonderful news for anyone who drafted (or will draft) Jefferson this season, though it doesn't mean his tendinitis won't flare up again unexpectedly. Oct. 20 - 11:34 pm et

of these 3, which 2 would you keep?

Wilson Chandler
Thaddeus Young
Courtney Lee

I wanna package one of them along with Tyson Chandler to try and get DJ Augustin and Bynum

I'm gonna need Jax and AI to actually play this season though

I'm a little short on assists too

recommendations?
I'd try and package mo williams/josh howard for westbrook and either wilson chandler or thaddeus young if you're looking for assts andsomeone who basically does what josh howard does.

Also is there anyone else on the waivers you can own beside matt barnes? All that guy did in GS is complain and he's not that great of a fit for the magicand hopefully SJAX does play but nobody knows right now. AI is slated to come off the bench, but he'll still put up numbers, just not the AI numberswe're all a custom to seeing.

I think I need some more scoring power, esp. since Lewis is out for 10 games. What do ya'll think? I'm going against this guy in week 2 who has Kobe, Vince C, Duncan, and Joe Johnson all on the same team
frown.gif
so I think I will def. need some points.
Heads up guys. might wanna pick up KG or Perk seeing assomeone will have to pick up the scoring load
Ankle Could Keep Scalabrine Out Of Opener
Scalabrine_Brian_bos.jpg
Celtics forward Brian Scalabrine could miss the team's season opener because of a sprained ankle.

He sprained his right ankle in Boston's preseason loss to New York on Tuesday night. Scalabrine stepped on a cameraman while going for a rebound.

Scalabrine is expected to have X-rays on the ankle Wednesday.

The other guy would be a fool to let go of Bynum and Augustin for Lee and Chandler.

Oh no! That ankle problem will help the defense now they don't have to worry about Scalabrine crossing them over and getting to rim at will.

Anyone else think they might be rushing him back?

For those of you that drafted Stephen Curry and think he's going to start... C.J. Watson is now ahead of him. Just putting this out there.

Same league as the one that BangDak posted earlier... Thoughts on my team? It's a 14-team league and I had the6th pick. I'm not really thrilled about this team. BangDak took Troy Murphy and Derrick rose right before I wasgoing to draft them.

Alright guys, this is my first year playing fantasy basketball. Any tips I need to know? I can pretty much figure out the scoring on my own.

^ my advice to you is that it's not about the big name superstars that get it done every night, the not so mentioned name players contribute more on aconsistent basis; ie- mario chalmers, courtney lee, lamarcus aldridge, john salmons, etc.

good luck!

anyone think john salmons is underrated? i think he is.

He was good last year

I am not high on him this year though

Paul, I'm a little worried on your team.

It's filled with a lot of buyer beware players that could literally kill your season with their injury prone history.

Gilberts that dude, he better step up this year.

Josh Howard
sick.gif
I wasn't even going to draft him even if he was the last player available after his bum !@* body failed him the whole year last season.

B. Diddy is always hopeful every year and I hope he stays healthy.

I always thought when you draft you should leave all your homerisms at the door, I try not to draft "my favorite players" but go with guys I know whoare stat stuffers.

If you wanna reach for someone you really want, I say go for it.

Don't sleep on guys like: David Lee, Milsap, Scola.

Late picks: Tyreke, B. Jennings, Channing Frye could be great late round fill ins.

I'm feeling good about Gilbert this season. And I'm basing this on nothing
laugh.gif
.

I picked Josh Howard because even though he's nicked up already, he's still playing with Jason Kidd and they are loaded with offensive weapons. WithDirk obviously getting most of the attention from the defense, I think with Kidd, Josh can be productive this year.

I picked Baron because my guy Derrick Rose was picked by BangDak that same round before me. Anyway, I think thatwith Baron coming into camp ~20 lbs lighter and knowing that he has Blake Griffin (noticed I drafted him, too
laugh.gif
), I think he will be poised for a veryproductive year. It's always the motivated Baron that does well. When he's unhappy is when he struggles. I believe he's happy this year.

I didn't really have a "homer" pick other than Gilbert and Marco Belinelli. I picked Marco because this is a 14-team league and there reallywasn't anybody else left. Baron wasn't really a homer pick because I genuinely believe that he's going to have a really good season this year.

Those dudes you listed are already taken. Picked before I anticipated. Although, I'm kind of shying away from Milsap this year... at least until theyunload Boozer. And because I missed out on dudes I anticipated, I'm not really feeling good about my team. There's going to be a lot of work if I wantto be in 1st place at the end of the season.
ohwell.gif

i think milsap will have a good year. okur would most likely be injured, boozers going to be out, and with dwill

i wanted griffin, but i decided to take someone else who seemed more solid. forgot who.
and all out of love paul, NH.
