For some reason in my league he is a relief pitcher. Soria and Qualls were both hurt so I needed someone off the wire so I just grabbed him because he had 2starts.

Quentin out till the all-star break is a killer. Choo needs to keep hitting

Na. It's actually 4-12 weeks now.

Nice

Do it... But keep in mind Wells always heats up as the weather does. His July and August numbers are always ridiculous.

Yea, you're right, but IDK. He hasn't done anything. And I think I have other OF that will take over his place. Plus, I lost Peavy, so Ineed a starter.

He never does until the end of June. I been watching him for years day in day out, pause, so when I say hes about to heat up, I say it withconfidence. But you do have other OF's. If you could offer someone else who has similar stats up till this point, do it.
Thank me later.

Hmmm, so who else can I throw in? I mean, the only other OF that people are interested (that isn't the big guys on my team) are Wells andBruce.

Should I give up on Kosuke Fukudome?

I was thinking of getting Hideki Matsui but I already own

Robinson Cano
Melky Cabrera
Jorge Posada

or does that even matter?

To me, it does matter. Especially in our offense. More often than not, they bat right after 1 another.

Jeter, Damon, Tex, A-Rod, Cano, Posada, Matsui, Cano, Gardner.

Obviously on days Swish plays, it might be broken up a little, but it's always them right after another. And when have you seen 4 back to back hittersproducing in a row? And Matsui is a REALLLLLLLL streaky hitter. Right now he's doing fine, and then he'll go into those 2-39 slumps. But he'sbetter than that bum Fukudome.

^Thanks for that advice

Also the Yanks play the Nats this week

Hopefully they will go off like they did vs the Mets

We play the Nats, Marlins, Braves, Mets.

Believe it or not, we struggle vs sucky/rookie pitchers.

Is Cueto worth trading for?

^Cueto is ok I wouldn't go all out to get him

I struggle everyday choosing between Ryan Theriot and Dan Uggla

Anyone got any advice on how I should go about who to play Daily?

I usally go with Theriot because he is the safer pick but Uggla does have his days

Should I just trade one?

I would give up Russel Martin and Kendrick for Posada and Cueto.

As for your dilemma. Here's what's gonna happen:

1) Ugly has his days, but they're rare this season. His power numbers are up, but his BA is

.

2) Theriot right now looks like the right pick. But when you start Ugly, Theriot will do good, and vice-versa.

3) If you trade one, the one you keep will suck, and the 1 you trade will beast. It always happens.

And PS, I don't think anyone else reads this thread. You might as well just text me

Which trade is better:

1)

I get:
Cliff Lee
Figgens

I give:
Pierre
Abreu

2)

I get:
Wainwright
Figgins

I give:
Pierre
Abreu

The reason I'm trading Pierre is cause once Manny comes back, he's gonna play once a week if that.

100% right man this always happens

I guess I will keep them both, gowith my gut feeling, and see who they are facing.

I say you go with getting Wainwright and Figgins. Dealing Pierre is very smart he is going to get no PT once Manny comes back

I know right I dunno why people don't post on here anymore oh well

Wainwright over Lee?

I was thinking the same since Lee has to face that crazy AL central (and every other damn AL team) the rest of the year, while Wainwright faces the NL whichisn't so tough. And with Carpenter back, that takes the pressure off him to be the #1 guy.

And yea bro, it sucks. It seems like we're blogging to eachother.

Ok, since you guys are just talking to youselves, I'll come in.

I have Jermaine Dye and a bunch of other outfielders (Carlos Lee, Adam Lind, Nelson Cruz, and Aaron Rowand. I need a SS and I've been looking at Zobrist. My current SS is Theriot. Would Jermaine Dye for Zobrist be an even deal? Can you forsee the production of Zobrist or Dye changing (i.e. someone's a 2ndhalf player or some other stat to back up your statement)?

Thanks!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Zobrist a RF? And you knwo that Dye gets hot 2nd half. Also, with Quinten coming back for the White Sox, that meansthat Dye will actually get pitches to hit.

I'm still stuck on this Wainwright/Lee thing. ughh.

Who won this trade:

Russel Martin
Howie Kendrick
Soria

for

Cueto
Joe Nathan
Posada
