Are you sure you're exactly the one to talk?

T-Wolves have two picks ahead of you this year, and a better franchise player to build around.

Allen, but the thing is that the Grizzlies are somewhat in control here, they could just stand pat and select Rubio, I don't think they have any problempicking him other than him whining.

If they give up Kevin Love with a pick to move up, it'd be moronic cause he's a top 3 pick in this draft

Minny doing it right though. Straight blowing things up. Clean slate. Getting rid of McHale was what got the ball rolling.

I didnt wanna do this but w.e.At teh end of teh day we will have a better coach (not sure if ya'll got one yet), GM, and are heading in abetter direction. We also dont have players canceling their workouts with us. Oh and we already sucked for a decade so yea
League source: Grizzlies won't take Rubio
A league executive tells 1050 ESPN New York's Andrew Marchand that the Grizzlies will not take Ricky Rubio with the No. 2 pick. But it's not like they have their minds made up. The source said Memphis likes Hasheem Thabeet, Tyreke Evans, James Harden and Johnny Flynn. Thabeet is the most likely pick, among the four, even though he couldn't participate in a recent workout due to a sore shoulder. The Knicks are also reportedly interested in trading up for Rubio. Two league executives told Marchand the Knicks like Stephen Curry more than Rubio. A third source says if Arizona forward Jordan Hill is available the Knicks are high on him as well. All clear yet?

NBA DRAFT | The draft mystery in Memphis. (Draft blog)
Update: Dalembert to Charlotte rumor
Samuel Dalembert | 76ers
Earlier today, word from Philly had the Sixers in talks with the http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=chaCharlotte Bobcats, sending C Samuel Dalembert and the 17th overall pick in the Thursday's draft for F Vladimir Radmanovic, C Nazr Mohammed, and the 12th pick in the draft. But when we checked in with ESPN.com's Marc Stein, he said his sources say the rumor doesn't have any legs. At least not yet. A hang-up might be that the deal doesn't do much for the Philly cap situation, and a jump to No. 12 from No. 17 is a mystery for value in a draft that still is loaded with questions even in the No. 2 to No. 7 range. We'll let you know when we hear more.

Oh you guys definitely have a great coach, I've been pretty open on saying I think D'Antoni is one of the best coaches in the League rightnow. And I'm not a Minnesota fan, I just love what their doing with their franchise. It's my personal opinion that the T-Wolves have helped themselvessubstantially with this trade, and further down the line.

But, as someone else just stated, we have to make sure Kahn knows how to draft correctly.

dantoni is not great, but he is good. i know what your saying. the twolves are going in the right direction and all, but i just dont see thembeing a good team. with most of the league eyeing 2010, the wolves will be bette rbut not a playoff team imo

The NBA has released the list offifteen players that will be attending Thursday's NBA Draft in New York City.

Stephen Curry (Davidson), Austin Daye (Gonzaga), DeMar DeRozan (USC), Tyreke Evans (Memphis), Jonny Flynn (Syracuse), Blake Griffin (Oklahoma), TylerHansbrough (North Carolina), James Harden (Arizona State), Gerald Henderson (Duke), Jordan Hill (Arizona), Jrue Holiday (UCLA), Brandon Jennings (LottomaticaVirtus Roma, Italy), Ricky Rubio (DKV Joventut Badalona, Spain), Hasheem Thabeet (UConn), and Terrence Williams (Louisville) will attend.

Looks like the dudes in the green room won't have to worry about sliding too far. I wouldn't be surprised if Holiday is the last one still sittingthere.

If the wolves trade Love and the 5 or 6 to get the 2 khan just lost all the points he just got

I was just throwing the concept of something like that out there.

And generally, I'm pretty stupid.

5 and one of the picks to OKC for the #2 since Memphis won't take Rubio. That's all it'll take IMO

#3 I mean. Whoever wants Rubio now has to talk to OKC. Sac Town is gonna be the losers in all of this
laugh.gif

I don't care what a player doesn't want. Memphis must draft Rubio now to make a deal with Minnesota. Minny traded Foye away, so obviously they makingroom for Rubio IMO. Where's the praying .gif when you need it?

wow the wizards must not have liked any player since they are satisfied dealing the 5th pick for those group of players.... im sure they could of gottensomething better in return

i'll await for you to admit your mistake when memphis passes on rubio.

i, too, will apologize for giving you flack if memphis does pick rubio though...(which i'm fairly sure they won't).

as for minnesota, i think they'll be fine drafting evans or curry (or both).

What if Memphis picks Rubio and trades him?

Don't worry, as mad as I'll be for us passing up on him I will definitely admit it. There's a reason for everything, so I trust that Memphis willmake a good decision whether they take Rubio or not.

Minnesota are probably in the best position possible right now. I don't think there is no way Kahn can really eff this up realistically.

The NBA has released the list of fifteen players that will be attending Thursday's NBA Draft in New York City.

Stephen Curry (Davidson), Austin Daye (Gonzaga), DeMar DeRozan (USC), Tyreke Evans (Memphis), Jonny Flynn (Syracuse), Blake Griffin (Oklahoma), Tyler Hansbrough (North Carolina), James Harden (Arizona State), Gerald Henderson (Duke), Jordan Hill (Arizona), Jrue Holiday (UCLA), Brandon Jennings (Lottomatica Virtus Roma, Italy), Ricky Rubio (DKV Joventut Badalona, Spain), Hasheem Thabeet (UConn), and Terrence Williams (Louisville) will attend.

your telling me daye and Hansbrough will be drafted before holiday?

^if they pick and trade him, i'll apologize as well. the ONLY deal i can see going down would be if minnesota drafted evans and trade him with cash/futurefirst rounder in return for rubio. which, imo would be a losing situation for memphis because they probably expected more if they were going to trade rubio.

IMO #5 & #6 to move up to #2 or #3 to draft Rubio is OD. The Knicks were trying to get #5 so they could package #5 & #8 to move up some reports weresaying. Honestly, because Thabeet is gone by the time #5 rolls around, I think Minny is basically shoring up their backcourt with these two picks. I don'tsee them drafting Hill really.
