Good, if he's not going to the Vikings get him out of the NFC please.

The Arizona Cardinals have granted the Tennessee Titans permission to talk to Anquan Boldin's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, after the Titansoffered the Cardinals a second-round pick from Saturday's draft and a player-to-be-named for the disgruntled receiver, sources told ESPN's SalPaolantonio on Friday.

It was believed Rosenhaus was asking for about $9 million a year for Boldin, a price tag that has turned off many teams that had expressed interest inBoldin, including the New York Giants, the New York Jets and the Baltimore Ravens.

The Philadelphia Eagles made an offer of a 2010 second-roundpick, a third-round pick in this year's draft and offensive tackle Winston Justice, which the Cardinals rejected, sources told Paolantonio.

Despite movement in trade talks, teammate and fellow receiver Larry Fitzgerald said Friday he thought Boldin would like to stay with the Cardinals.

"I don't think he really wants to go," Fitzgerald said, according to The Associated Press. "He's been out there six years. His familyis comfortable; his son is in school. There's a lot of things that I think will be conducive for him to stay.

"But this is a business. You never know what's going to happen."

Graves and coach Ken Whisenhunt had repeatedly emphasized at the team's pre-draft news conference Tuesday that they would be happy to keep Boldin andeventually try to sign him to a new contract.

"Quite a few teams have called but we have no offers from those teams," Graves said Tuesday. "Anything can evolve from this point throughdraft day so that's where it is right now."

Boldin expressed extreme displeasure with his contract in last season's training camp, accusing Cardinals management of failing to follow through on apromise of a new deal and vowing never to re-sign with Arizona.

Still, he went on to have his third Pro Bowl season in six years in the NFL as the Cardinals advanced to the Super Bowl.

"I didn't say a trade was necessary," Boldin said last week. "I just want something to get resolved. It's something that's goneon long enough."

Boldin has two years remaining on a four-year, $22.25 million contract. He earned $4 million last season.

By comparison, Fitzgerald is in the second season of a four-year, $40 million deal, with $30 million guaranteed. Fitzgerald and quarterback Kurt Warner have said they would be open to altering theircontracts in order to keep Boldin.

"He was a big part of what we were able to do last year," said Fitzgerald, who was participating in an event promoting the "Madden NFL"video game. "He's helped me out tremendously. I hope he's with us for the rest of his career."

Exactly. We got this

Losing the best DT takes a lot away from that D. They won't be near as great as they were last year. Kerry Collins is not good no matter what record he ledhis team to, he is an average QB.

If they get Q all teams have to do is double up on him and than worry about CJ. Is Justin Cage really gonna make teams worry.

They beat the Super Bowl-reigning Steelers 31-14 w/o Haynesworth in Week 16....(no key players sat out for the Steelers either)

Their defense is still Top 5 without Haynesworth.

Tell me I didn't just hear Crabtree list Alvin Harper as one of his influences...
Report: Rams Buy Sanchez A Plane Ticket
Posted by Aaron Wilson on April 24, 2009, 7:42 p.m. EDT

The St. Louis Rams have purchased a plane ticket for USC quarterback Mark Sanchez to travel to St. Louis on Sunday, according to Steve Wyche of NFL.com, per our friends at The Red Zone.

What does this development mean?

It doesn't necessarily guarantee that the Rams are definitely going to draft Sanchez with the second overall pick of the draft and fly him into St. Louis for an introductory press conference.

The Rams might just be plotting contingency plans just in case they draft Sanchez. Or it could be an elaborate smokescreen to get the teams drafting behind them that are interested in Sanchez to initiate trade discussions to move up.

Perhaps the Rams buy several plane tickets to lock in the best prices for every potential draft pick that's garnering serious consideration. In this struggling economy, it makes a lot of sense, especially if they're refundable fares.

Editor's note: Below is Todd McShay's updated first-round projection, which will continue to be updated until the draft kicks off. ScoutsInc.'s complete seven-round mock draft will be updated Friday evening.

The NFL draft is mere hours away, and the draft board continues to shuffle. We have yet to see a trade involving a first-round pick, but there is plenty ofplayer movement in our first-round projection.

Scouts Inc.'s top four has remained intact since our last mock draft on April 22, but DE Tyson Jackson has moved into the No. 5spot and shaken things up from there. WR Michael Crabtree and DE/OLB Brian Orakpo have also shuffled things in the top 10.

Remember, trades are not a part of this projection, so we have the Broncos addressing their defense and the Jets looking for receiver help in the middle ofthe first round, and the Giants filling their receiver need with the 29th pick rather than a trade for an established veteran.

Here's how we see the entire first round playing out at this point:

1. Detroit Lions: Matthew Stafford, QB, Georgia

2. St. Louis Rams: Jason Smith, OT, Baylor

3. Kansas City Chiefs: Aaron Curry, OLB, Wake Forest

4. Seattle Seahawks: Mark Sanchez, QB, USC

5. Cleveland Browns: Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU

6. Cincinnati Bengals: Andre Smith, OT, Alabama

7. Oakland Raiders: Michael Crabtree, WR, Texas Tech

8. Jacksonville Jaguars: Eugene Monroe, OT, Virginia

9. Green Bay Packers: B.J. Raji, DT, Boston College

10. San Francisco 49ers: Brian Orakpo, DE/OLB, Texas

11. Buffalo Bills: Brian Cushing, OLB, USC

12. Denver Broncos: Robert Ayers, DE, Tennessee

13. Washington ********: Aaron Maybin, DE/OLB, Penn State

14. New Orleans Saints: Malcolm Jenkins, CB, Ohio State

15. Houston Texans: Chris Wells, RB, Ohio State

16. San Diego Chargers: Michael Oher, OT,Mississippi

We'll see. My thing is though they have a lot of money tied into Lofa Tatupu and Leroy Hill.

How much sense does it make investing that #4 spot into another LB even if he may the best prospect in the draft?

As far the Chiefs, that's super risky to draft Sanchez and hope to create a bidding war...teams might just screw the Chiefs

and let them deal with their 2 high profile QB's on the roster. They better have a deal in place already if they do that.

are you ready for DHB? fuuuuuuuuuuuu

I holding out hope that does not happen...at least not at #7.
