The Giants aren't interested in adding free-agent outfielder Jermaine Dye, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Dye's asking price and his defense are the main sticking points.

He turned down an offer from the Nationals earlier this year.

So lets look at this lineup.....

Velez.....not a major league starter talent
Renteria......over the hill veteran who isnt cutting it
Sandoval......is slumping and still hitting .310
Huff.......has decent at bats and decent pop, but is average
Uribe......love him. good talent, but awful if he is your 2nd best hitter.
Bowker.....has promise, but hasnt done anything so far.
Schierholtz....AAAA player who plays above average defense.
Whiteside......awful average hitter, is a decent catcher.

At what point did our front office look at our projected team this year and think "yeah! we have built a strong, competitive lineup."....? I mean....seriously? I refuse to believe that 75% of the general public are smarter than the people than the people running our team. I just dont get it. We continue to roll out players like Torres and expect to win?

Can we please get someone to run this team who knows what the *+!% they are doing this offseason bowtie?

Stupid assessment.

The front office was obviously counting on having a GAMER leading off in Rowand.

Yeah I just reread all that. Sorry for the vent. Its not my best piece of writing....but its message still applies.

all of Sabean's teams have been 1 sided.

When we had Bonds we had a great lineup and average pitching.

Woody was our best pitcher for years.

now we have Great Pitching and Average Offense

Yeah I just reread all that. Sorry for the vent. Its 420. Its not my best piece of writing....but its message still applies.

Zito, Cain and Sanchez all pitched great and it felt like we weren't even in the game.

They better get Nate in and then some.

Our offense is offensive.

Edit: ARE YOU *#+*$!+ KIDDING ME!?!?!?!??
