2-2-1-1-1 Format for the Finals ayeee

Always felt that the current format gave the advantage to the lower seed with those 3 straight home games, considering it's the first to 4 who wins.

In the past, it was logical due to travel reasons with going from coast to coast and what not. But with the way NBA teams travel now, it's no big deal for them to go 2-2-1-1-1 even if its coast to coast.

Got Duncan looking a 6'5 190 pound shooting guard in that picture, Hibbert trying to be bigger than the league

 Except the home team hardly ever wins ALL of those 3 home games. In virtually 30 years, only 3 teams have done it

The problem with 2-3-2 is that it's just dated. It was implemented after the brutal 1984 Finals. It went seven games, and the last three games were all played on one day's rest, flying back and forth between Boston and Los Angeles. I remember hearing Bob Ryan talk about covering it. Nobody even had a flight back to Boston (or a hotel, for non-Boston media) for Game 7 (because if Boston won Game 6, it was over). It was also the first live NBA Finals. In order to keep up with the broadcast changes and growing media coverage, they had to condense the series into only two flights, instead of potentially four.

That's not the point  Their are no certainties in sports, so I would never say that the lower seeded team having 3 middle home games automatically means win.

However, it gives them an unfair chance to gain an advantage in the series, to which I don't think should happen. Plus the format like I said is very outdated.

What would happen if the ball gets tipped into the crowd and the a fan shoots the ball? I'm thinking an adult would get escorted out. It'd be kinda cute if a kid did it. Ref would still mean mug him tho. I thought about this when I was at a hawks wizards game I went to in December and I was sitting on the fourth row. If someone were to do it, it better be in the fourth quarter and the person better be in their way to the exit. I'm sure the nba dreads such obnoxious behavior, like the guy that was playing catch with lebron.
