I like Harden's game but the flailing **** is too much at times. Overall he's a great player though. He got the right coach, still think they need another star to contend though.

All very true. Reason why Kobe didn't even sniff the MVP that year was because his team was performing the same way Russell's is this season. It's difficult to win an MVP when your team isn't a top seed or even winning 50 games

Some would even consider Russ to be "looting in a riot"

and anyone who would say that is a fool because he's leading his team to the playoffs & when he has a trip dub his team is winning 80% of the games.

I think kawhi should win it,

but the way I hear these analysts talk about Westbrook record don't matter, triple double, historic, teammates stink, etc. I think he's gonna ultimately win and single handily change the criteria from now on.

I don't think he'll single handedly change the criteria going forward, I just think this is a once in a lifetime season. And as P said earlier, Westbrook is much more engaging to the media than Kobe was. And you know he's going to get some sympathy from losing KD and them still being a playoff team. Also OKC can get to 50 wins if they go 12-3 the rest of the way.
