Payne can't play this series, maybe opposite Barbosa but Livingston is going to give him or whoever that work in midrange on post ups. Probably have to guard him with Dion really and dust Singler off to put on Iggy :x who is interesting this series. He isn't good enough for you to dedicate Andre to him, plus he is a sub and you can't really play Dre with lineups other than the starters, and as last series we don't even employ a backup 3. You can go small and call Dion that and pair him with Foye and Payne but again, Livingston is eating either of them. Probably just have to stagger and keep KD opposite him.

Iggy is def needed this series, he will for sure show up, he will for sure eat. Finals MVP Iggy will be in uniform tonight.

If OKC is going to have a chance they've got to realllyyy win the rebound battle.

They'll probably win it by default, but the margin has got to be huge, especially on the offensive glass.

That and Dion has got to continue his torrid shooting from 3. Shooting 41% from 3 on over 3 attempts per in the playoffs, he has to continue being a competent threat overall if OKC is going to have a chance. He's playing really good defense too. For someone who plays about 25 minutes a night, he has the ball quite often and isn't turning it over often or anything like that. Making smart decisions. They close with Waiters on the floor so hopefully he can continue to not be a dumbass and hit open shots.

The Glass and Waiters are going to be what turns the tide either for or against OKC.

If OKC can prevent fast break points and their turnover rates, along with bench play, then they got a good chance.

Rebounding doesn't matter just like the regular season, OKC average over 14 rebounds against Warriros and still lost.

I believe the way for OKC to win is
  • Bench
  • Turnover rate
  • Threes
  • Defend the fast break
  • Stop Curry (Good luck)

Rebounding absolutely matters. They outrebounded GSW in the reg season and although they lost, you can't look at the final result here. If i'm not mistaken, 2 of the 3 games that OKC lost was due to them completely imploding / collapsing. Although OKC is known for that this season, you would bet that they are good enough to not repeat this come playoff time.

What i'm saying is they had two of those games in the bag and of those games, rebounding was a few reasons why they were in great position to win against GSW.

The other stuff I agree with for the most part. They don't "have" to stop steph though. Steph won't beat you. It's the others. The Iggy's, Harrisons, Livingston's, etc. that will be difference.

Golden state in 6 . Golden state has fire power with the spurs type offense . Spurs guards suck , dion looked good against them. Gs has the best backcourt in the l and the best player in the world.

Im gonna say warriors in 7 but i wouldnt be surprised if thunder win in 7

Cavs in 4 or 5. Refs will be the deciding factor if the raptors can win a game

people are forgetting about the w's incredible defense. i dont think they will let the other guys beat them and kd/russ will definitely work for their pts.
even though lillard and cj got their last series, they were high volume shooters

kat with unanimous rookie of the year award.

so close to that #1 pick last year :{

Thunder have a chance. If Kanter and Adams can rebound and Waiters can continue with the good shooting and no bonehead mistakes, OKC can win this series. Dubs are not unbeatable.

I do agree that rebounding matters, but against the Warriors, it specifically doesn't because with the low amount of rebounds they are able to get, they run out on the break very quickly and will more than often, score a three or two. That's where offensive rebounding does matter for OKC, for the Warriors, the conversion of 3's being made after a rebound and then immediately into a fast break, is somewhat able to neutralized being out rebounded.

Lol, yeah, I agree with what you said of OKC.

Steph will beat you if you let him come off screens and shoot freely or if you don't play up to him at the three point or even the half court line.

The bench will get theirs, no matter what, against OKC bench players.

GSW locks down on defense when they need to.  Note all of the 2nd half comebacks they've had so far in the Playoffs where another team is leading most of the game and then they score like 8 points in the final 10 minutes.

And as NickMaz said, their fast pace kind of skews the PPG allowed.
