If this evil being who is going to ruin the universe told me ahead of time who I need to get the stop against or even what position, I'd pick differently. Not knowing, you just have to pick pretty much a midsized, versatile defender who can defend bigger or smaller than himself. Dray might not be a bad choice either, KD as well. Assuming it's just them 2 with Steph starting with the ball at the center of half court and one shot, I'd like my chances with LeBron. It's having to do it multiple times over the course of a whole game and with picks and transiton and action. But yea if it's Curry, give me Westbrook. Just need this one stop Russ to save the Universe, then you can go back to half assing on D, losing focus, and wearing weird clothes

Anybody objective saw that GSW did nothing to prove that they can win in OKC tomorrow.
None of the role players played well, Adams had foul trouble and they were still in it for the majority of the game.
GSW still gonna get smashed on the boards, in transition and they still don't have an answer for OKC defense.

It's the perfect idiom though. We aren't talking about the point of this or that, we're talking about what you have, and what you don't have. If you want cake, you can have cake...as long as you realize if you eat it, you will no long have it.

I think there are better ways to convey that you cant have it both ways that that idiom. There is only one reason someone would want a cake is so it can be eaten if thats the goal there isnt any two ways about it there is only one way.
