Official 2017-2018 Knicks season thread

We need to be exhausting every resource possible outside of KP, Frank and future 1st rounders to get the Grizzlies 4th pick

I want Doncic so bad

Frank gotta hold that finger roll a little longer for the jelly fam. I see him working though. He needs to come uptown and ball for the summer. 8o

I don't see us having too much money in 2019 though since Lee and Noah are still under contract that summer

We currently have $59M committed to the 2019-20 season.

Even with the Noah & Lee contracts, we're gonna have a lot of money to play with.

Looking forward to watching him in the summer league.

If this continues to be the trend, we’re better off drafting Miles.

I think we should draft Miles regardless. I like Mikal but adding another shaky ball handler to this group is asking for trouble.

Ntilikina also is working out again with former Knicks developmental coach Chris Brickley at Carmelo Anthony’s gym in Manhattan. The increased strength may help make Ntilikina an even more adept defender than he was as a rookie.

“Frank’s entire demeanor has been different since he has been back,” Brickley told The Post. “He has a confident swagger now that he didn’t have last season. I think when he went home, it allowed him to take a step back and analyze his weaknesses.”

Drafting Miles and having 3 potentially elite young defensive starters is pretty exciting. Even though he doesn’t have a great wingspan and all that.

I still think Frank is a 2 and we have a major hole at the 1/playmaker position though.

Yea I’m set on drafting Miles. He’s gonna be inefficient, but his strengths far outweigh his main weakness.

Too many positives and intangibles to pass up on. Toughness, rebounding, creating, ball handling, ability to guard 3s and 4s, and hit the 3ball at an average clip. Feel like he’d be the perfect fit in NY.
