How do you not make up a conference game? They should just schedule it the week of the SEC title game since neither team won't be doing **** ...Heeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

People are saying that because of this

1. LSU loses control of it's destiny. It now needs Bama to lose twice, even if they beat them and hold the tie breaker; and

2. Same for Tennessee - if they drop the next two to TAMU and Bama and then win out for a 6-2 record, they'd need UF to lose another game, because even at 6-1, UF would win the division despite UTk holding the tie-breaker.

Who can confirm?

Also student workers from LSU said they didn't get any correspondence about getting ready to host the game. Doesn't mean it wasn't being discussed and offered to UF though.

Yea it was definitely offered. Don't know why they just don't reschedule for Sunday or Monday.

Not unless the SEC is gonna write LSU a nice check for losing game revenue which ain't happening

Game should definitely be on. We here in Broward got pretty much nothing other then a drizzle all day. No reason the game should be cancelled. The atmosphere Saturday night :smokin

Yea let's make fans come to see a terrible football team weeks after one of the worst natural disasters in our lifetimes.

Florida calls their stadium the swamp don't they? It be cool to see it in wet conditions.

Florida offered to play LSU on Nov. 19 & cancel Presbyterian game, but LSU refused, source told @ESPN. LSU hosts South Alabama on Nov. 19

So they'd rather play South Alabama than us

South Carolina coach Will Muschamp announced on his weekly radio show that this weekend's game against Georgia will be played Sunday

Tom Herman grew up next door to USC, assistant coached at U of Texas, has family roots currently in both places and both are, arguably, the two best jobs in the country - better funding, better talent pools, easier path to a playoff and a higher profile if you ever want to go coach in the pros.

For most people, it doesn't make sense to look past both of those cities/schools for Baton Rouge, a city that you have no connection to, in maybe the hardest division, where you can win 10 games a year and be fired for not beating Nick Saban.

Also LA + Austin >>>>>> the Bayou.

no doubt to all of this, especially when it comes to living.

But i don't think thats everything to a lot of these head coaches. They are lifers. Its all about coaching. You think Saban likes living in Alabama?

Texas is definitely in a good position for him, no doubt. If he had the choice between LSU and Texas, he's choosing Texas. But LSU is a no brainer as well. LSU has always recruited Texas well. Herman has ties. I personally think LSU is closer to winning than Texas or LSU. But its not that much closer. Strong going to leave some serious talent behind.

USC is not in the running for him. Quite frankly, i don't think anyone like Herman is ready to turn this program around. You might think they are close to being a top program, but i don't see it that way. This program is severely deficient right now. Its 3+ years away from being contenders

We'd be lucky to get Miles. And I'd be somewhat thrilled if it happened. There's not a lot of better options for them.
