Since 2011 Rose hasn't had the benefit of a full season. I think he is more concerned with playing 82 games then getting off to a hot start.

Talking about trade him while he still got value. Only thing that matters in a trade involving him is if he wants to leave.

Melo played most of his career in the stacked West.

Notice all your examples are ****** eastern teams in a shotty eastern conference. Now Melo is on one of those ****tier eastern teams and you're still trying to make dumbass comparisons like you don't know what the **** went on.

Those teams went to the FINALS regardless of how ****** the conference was. We cant even have a winning record. So how can you even compare Finals in ****** conference or can't even get a winning record in a decent conference. Cmon. So what you're saying is if put any of our recent teams in those year groups we would've been in the finals?

They went to the finals cuz the competition sucked in their conference. What don't you get about that? What happened when they got to the finals? They got swept or won one game.

Now compare those **** teams to the eastern conference teams that had more than one all-star that actually won a championship.

I'm not even sure what you're arguing now. You want us to go to the finals with this **** team just to lose badly?

To me it just seems you want to ignore just how bad the Knicks roster has been since Melo got here compared to the rosters AI, Bron, and Dwight led to the finals. Cuz they all were better coached and had better teams. Don't delude yourself in to thinking any of those 3 would be leading those Knicks teams to the finals.

The theme here is the big men are being used in roles they shouldn't be.

Robin was forced to be a facilitator away from the rim with those dumb*** handoffs at the three point line
Kristaps is at the 4 chasing guys on the perimeter and negating his rim protection
Noah is given forced starts and is the main facilitator which ironically keeps the ball out of our best players hands.

I aint buying distinctions between ball movement and player movement. Pop's Spurs, Rick Adelman's Kings, and Phil's Lakers/Bulls existed.

melo is stil a poor leader though. he needs everything to be going his way to galvanize others around him, we played well offensively against detroit to the point where he's diagraming plays for us on offense.. we come out awful against washington and he doesnt rip the team or try to motivate them. wack

This team has no leader. A team with a legit leader would not allow their team to lose to scrub teams. In Melo's best years he had Billups, Kidd, the Olympic players etc.
