This team is playing well considering everything. Last night didn't bother me cause we aren't even in Cleveland's league.

We are a third tier team. We can beat the average-to-bad teams in the NBA consistently, which is around half. If everyone stays healthy, we probably make the playoffs and lose to Cleveland/Toronto in the first round.

I know everyone hates me in here but I just want to know what you guys see as the realistic path upwards from here.

Melo is going to get worse every year on out at this point, he's 32. Rose isn't reliable and is not a long-term solution at PG. Jo is beyondddd washed.

The only guy we have that we can really say will be here in three years is KP. The success we are having, and I use that term success very loosely, is built on a house of cards.

I just am very scared KP will be in an Anthony Davis scenario in a few years where he is a top 10 player but his teams decision to try immediately try building a contender robbed him of a foundation as he entered his prime.

You guys need to chill out. We played the defending champs on the back end of a back-to-back with little to NO rest. These guys came into NY the morning we had our game in Miami. What did you expect was going to happen?

We were missing Rose and the Cavs got hot early. Especially Kevin Love.

You know what upset me the most? Love got all of those looks early, because KP can't guard the pick and roll to save his life. And in a league that's so heavy on high-screen pick and pop, KP needs to learn how to defend this better. Someone call Chris Bosh and get him in the gym with KP.

The Cavs basically finished the game in the 1st QT. I stayed up to watch this **** show and fell asleep right before the quarter ended.

We're still 12-10 and there's plenty of games left for us to play. Let's move on.

Anthony Davis' health robbed him any foundation he may have had. The kid keeps getting hurt.

#trademello

In all serious though that was a collective beating they took. Someone needs to lay a hard foul on the posse ringleader. Give him an actual reason to whine and cry.

Melo is never requesting a trade no matter what happens regardless. He's gonna ride out this deal and try to get 1 more big 3 or 4 year deal that the Knicks will most likely give him then retire

:lol @ 35 year old Melo getting a max deal, that is not happening.

I still think Melo would consider moving teams if he could go to a contender or play with one of his buddies.

Me personally, I think the major reason why Melo wanted to come here and now stay here, is more for his brand and not basketball

Oh I guess it's gonna be a #tradeMelo day today huh. [emoji]128580[/emoji]

Y'all know Cleveland is better than us right?

How would him getting hurt rob him of his foundation :lol

He's on of the five best basketball players on this planet but probably has the single worst supporting cast in the league cause his team thought trading/signing Eric Gordon, Tyreke Evans/Omer Asik and Jrue Holiday was the right move.

Not one of those guys was a guy they drafted.

Knicks can hang with the Cavs. The key is small ball. When they play conventional they have been horrible all season, both offensively and defensively. They can't play their best small ball lineup without Derrick though.

Let someone flip water bottles vs Bron & he'll be on some 'I worked too hard to get disrespected' ****

Thing is after seeing what the beta boys did in the offseason I was rooting for the Cavs to take them out in this year's finals but after seeing the way this dude ******* and cries for fouls all night and acts like a complete clown on the bench I'm not sure I can go out my way and wish any success for him. It's like I totally forgot what type of front running **** boy he was since I haven't been paying attention to him or the Cavs that much.

Phil is kinda annoying tbh. He should just accept that this is the best roster he can do for now and that the goal should be to work with what he got.

Bottom line is the Cavs are the champs. They are REALLY good. We are still a team trying to find ourselves and get comfortable with one another.

Add that Rose was out and that we were playing 5 on 4 anytime Noah was out there.

We have a pretty light schedule coming up imo. If we play like we played during the win streak, I can see 4-1 in the next 5 games if they don't let the b.s. effect the chemistry and we continue to build off what we are successful with.

Porzingis been poop last 4 games too.. He gotta shake it off and get back ASAP.
