Knicks can hang with the Cavs. The key is small ball. When they play conventional they have been horrible all season. They can't play their best small ball lineup without Derrick though.

Same can be said if you're still playing ISO ball in 2016 odds are you're team has no flow or consistency on the offensive end No player is perfect and that why we got Noah to help KP out.

Noah has been awful. & would be terrible for a small ball situation. So it remains that KP needs to guard the pick & roll better. Just like there are no excuses for Melo's iso ball, there aren't any for KP's defense.

Maybe I'm naive but I can't do that when one of my"best friends in the league" is on the opposing bench.

Maybe I'm blowing it out of proportion.

And yes since growing up, most of my friends and I have gotten into heated discussions about the Knicks.

Cuz they were still losers.

There's a huge disconnect between our reputation of being winners while the ball team sucks. Meanwhile, in each decade it's the Lakers or Bulls dominating. Then you look at other NY sports the NY teams have won (Yankees, Giants, Rangers) that have a championship every decade or have won multiple times recently or the last 30 years.

Keep in mind the Knicks were the only NBA team in NYC for the longest. If the Jets were the only NFL team here millions would hate them. The city tends to have its teams known for winning and it's teams of underdogs.

Even with Rose, no. This team loses 4-0 or 4-1 in a best of 7 series barring major injury against the Cavs.

They simply don't have the defensive personnel.

This is true. Dudes are easy marks for w/e narrative some sports bum wants to create. Its always crazy how rumor and speculation is taken as fact. Somebody will take a writer's speculation and assumption as direct quotes from the person

Cavs disrespected us waaaaaaaay before the water bottle challenge. B Jennings led the team in scoring with 16 effin pts... We got our ***** kicked.
