Let's not act like you Laker fans haven't been proven wrong about basically everything y'all have predicted happening for the past 5+ offseasons

Like what? And that was a different regime running stuff. We got 24K magic in the air now.

Yep. Put together a championship team and recently turned a 25 win team into a 53 win team in 3 years without any superstars. Definitely an idiot.

and moved down two picks to gain another #1 for next season.

He aint an idiot.

im not gullable

if paul george leaves a team that goes to the finals i wouldnt trust him. that would be the dumbest thing any player has ever done.

you gotta question a player like that mentality

maybe if the celtics win a title sure leave cuz you have nothing else to accomplish

but if you make it to the finals and say you lose to the warriors in a 6 or 7 game series

that would leave a bitter taste in your mouth and challenge to come back and try to beat them the next year

if you come so close and then leave to a basically rebuilding situation you gotta question that boys brain

yeah, Laker fans said 5 years ago we're just going to rebuild and not bring anyone in here except for guys to fill the cap.....

Yep, that happened

It's quiet ... too quiet

It feels like we should be hearing more about:

• Toronto. Facing onerous tax payments ahead of arguably the most important offseason in franchise history, with the Kazoos sniffing around their GM. Something has to give here. Lowry and Ibaka have the same agent, and it was widely assumed the Raptors would pony up to re-sign Ibaka after dealing for him at the trade deadline.

• Portland, staring at tax hell for a team that finished at .500.

• Detroit, approaching the tax for a team that didn't even do that. Does Brooklyn, heavy on guards in the wake of the Lopez/Russell deal, really want to hand Kentavious Caldwell-Pope a max offer sheet? If not -- if it prefers Porter -- who should Detroit fear?

Golden State, juggling four stars and a sixth man, Andre Iguodala, who might want a three-year deal as he enters his twilight. A deal that long would overlap with the first year of Klay Thompson's next mega-deal, adding to the Warriors' (potentially) unprecedented tax burden.

• Oklahoma City. The Thunder have zero cap flexibility, two interesting free agents (Taj Gibson and Andre Roberson) who would rocket them way into the tax, and an MVP with a year left on his contract. Buckle up.

• Memphis. Four major outgoing free agents, and not enough money for all of them. The Grizzlies are crossing their fingers JaMychal Green's market is cooler than expected.

• Orlando. The Magic have aimed big in recent years. They have shockingly little cap room -- about $13 million -- for a team that didn't even win 30 games.

Enjoy the fireworks, everyone!

That actually was most of us in here at least. The moment Dwert left combined with Kobe's deal it was rebuild mode and they screwed that up last summer.

Nah, every off season, it was we are going to get this player, that player, oh damn, Deng and Mozgov were good signings, Its because of Kobe, when he leaves, players will come, etc.......

You don't speak for the entire Lakers group. It was said by others. The majority. Nobody was saying Lakers were going to suck for 5 years. Nope.

So turning Markelle Fultz into Tatum and maybe a mid to late lottery pick will be considered a genius move?

says the guy who said Ainge is an idiot, and he's not gullible just minutes ago.

Yeah, the Kings have shown us that potential............

Probably the worst franchise in the NBA

dont get on my bad side

nobody is saying he's a genius. He's just making good moves. Probably holding his cards a little too tight at times.

What the hell has you team done that was even remotely looking like a good move? Trading your top pick from 2 years ago that you guys were praising? signing Mozgov? Deng? Hiring Mike Brown? D'Antoni? Continuing to let Kupchak and Buss run things?

You Lakers fan are a trip. I gotta deal with you guys every damn day. Easy to pound on others when you're own backyard is a mess. :rollin

Between Fox, Buddy, Justin, Skal and whoever they keep adding there are young scorers everyone on that team.
