Doesn't have to if they're waiving $7.5M+ a season and all the resources you could ever ask for. For some, money means nothing. Others, if's at the crux of their decision making.
My entire life, I've seen 2 coaches at FSU. Bobby and Jimbo. And Jimbo was a coach in waiting. Can't say I've been on the side where my team was actively in a coaching searching. Pretty amazing considering I'm 40 now. Has to happen at some point and it may be this season, unfortunately.

I've seen that in print. Again, my buddy isn't a huge college football fan, but he's around the campus a lot since he's a cop and does security for their games on occasion. That said, he told me about A&M wanting Jimbo a solid month before it hit the Boards. He could be entirely wrong, but him mentioning Jimbo being their top target early on before it made it's way to sites, does lend some credence.
