All the attention for Georgia defense was on Roquan, but Tyler Clark was def right there with him that entire game. He gave Baker hell the whole game. Kid is gonna be an animal next season.

A&M is going all in on him.

You’re already pot committed on Fisher. Saved a ton of money on the OC hire. They’ll end up offering $2.5m or more.

The Packers?

Had been rumored that he didn't really care for recruiting for a while.

He's had NFL aspirations for awhile.

But how often to college coordinators make the jump straight to NFL DC?

Especially if A&M is offering $2.5m... More than he'd make in the NFL.

UCF athletic director Danny White said Wednesday the program has decided to claim a national championship and will place a championship banner inside Spectrum Stadium to recognize its undefeated 2017 season.

The Knights beat Auburn 34-27 in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl to cap a 13-0 season, finishing as the only undefeated team in college football. But because UCF doesn't play in a Power 5 conference, it entered the bowl game ranked No. 12 by the College Football Playoff selection committee and was not given an opportunity to play for the national championship.

I can't remember did Auburn do this in 2004?

Naw. They claimed it but never officially put up a banner or got rings, only unofficially alluded to it. They were undefeated but they weren't the only undefeated team and USC also would have stomped them to death that year. You can't tell me nothing.

There's also the issue of the absolute gumption it would take to try to claim a 2004 title because "Reggie Bush was ineligible" when they had Cam Newton running around on both sides of the ball and in dorm rooms. They're not dummies.

UCF is claiming the national championship -- but their AD went out of his way to make it clear they're not claiming the playoff championship, just the national championships that the SEC loves to claim hundreds of.

A simple 'no' would have sufficed
