OFFICIAL 2019 COLLEGE FOOTBALL OFFSEASON THREAD

Wife and I are making the trip to Austin to see UT-TCU. First time at DKR for me. I don't like our chances with how athletic TCU has looked and they're coming off a thumping from OSU. It should be a good time though, hopefully the rain holds off!!!

Sounds like Bosa will be having surgery. Out 6-8 weeks. Will be back around Michigan game if he even comes back to play

Only way Bosa comes back is if Ohio State makes the playoff. He not coming back to play in a meaningless bowl game.

Max Browne did a live chat/interview with the 247 dudes:

"So, to recap:
-Max doesn’t think scheme is a problem (Shotgun seems to agree)
-didn’t think Helton has any glaring issues
-said Helton could get plenty gruff toward players even while staying cheery publicly
-Thinks full pads can be “night and day” for OL and that it helps with physicality (but there’s always a tradeoff for more injuries)
-called S&C “world class”

Sounds like most of the fans' theories aren’t terribly well supported in his view, with the exception of the observation that the OL is the biggest culprit. Now if only we let them hit more to see how they do in pads...."

Was never impressed by this kid in HS. Saw the physical tools but I guess he couldn't put it all together.

Miami Juniors need to return for SR year, maybe they'll finally learn from previous player's mistakes, only JR who could leave is JJ, AR gotta show he can stay on the field

Tulsa's QB is ****. 3 interceptions, 2 fumbles.
His WRs are *** too.

I’m a big Jalen Waddle fan
:{ The one guy A&M needed desperately that Jimbo didn't win at signing day... Stud. stud. stud.
Is Bama gonna cover this 4 touchdown spread though? tmay407 tmay407 N41D N41D
I'm lean towards yes. Clemson was obviously better than A&M, but I think it was easier to see a path to them keeping a game competitive, especially at home.

I just don't see what A&M can do against Bama. Unless Kellen Mond goes out there and throws down a 2012 Johnny performance in Tuscaloosa, I just don't know. Four scores is a lot, though.

We're seeing the impact of the new transfer rules first hand. I know some of these guys weren't seeing playing time and they saw the writing on the wall. They're not even going to take the chance of Malzahn playing them this week so they're leaving beforehand. We'll be seeing this more and more often.

Is Jalen going to do the same, or is he going to let Nick Saban burn a year of his eligibility?
