UM and SC were in the same boat at the same time last time. They gave Mark Richt everything and people were like "big boy football! Moves that show you're ready to compete for championships again!"

Big boy move on paper. Swing and a miss in reality. Him being instrumental in getting Miami's IPF was the most important thing that he did. They can't afford to miss on this hire.

Only need to cherry pick some SoCal kids when you're in Miami. He HAS to land SoCal kids out there. I don’t think he will focus on the same Cali kids when he’s in Miami. He will go after the Kayvons of the world but not all of those guys.
