Victor Oladipo missed a third of their games & yet the Pacers are still doing better than the Sixers & Celtics but nobody mentions Nate Mcmillan... damn shame

Meanwhile Brad Stevens still getting praise for having easily the most talented roster in the East & abusing trash teams. out of 18 games they've won 8 games against teams that would be in the playoffs (3 of those wins were the Pistons).

Stay Woke

Big Celtics thread

Doc rivers still an elite coach or..? Dudes were going on and on about his offense being so great

Celtics won 8 in a row and didn't move up an inch in the standings. Slow starts will kill you

doc is still a pretty good coach, for a few years people were acting like he's straight trash, but again this thread calls everyone not named pop or Stevens trash so it is what it is.

Bucks, Raps and Sixers slipping a bit tho...we didn’t move up but we definitely made up some ground. Only 3.5 out of 1st with some games against the bucks and Sixers next week

Celts 3-1 against Toronto/Milwaukee/Philly this year. Home games against both Milwaukee and Philly in the next week.

True. But what does it tell you that those teams were slipping, Indy missed Vic for like two weeks, yall were on fire and yall still haven't moved up. I think the Celtics will be fortunate if they end up as anything higher than a 5th seed

Current season awards

MVP: Jokic
ROY: Luka
DPoy: Covington
COY: McMillan/ Mike Malone
MIP: Rose
6th man: Sabonis
Embiid is always in the top 5 of folks lists. Joker def has comparable numbers outside of counting stats, but never mentioned

Siakam has my mip for now, it’s amazing that two guys as old as rose and siakam are in contention for most improved

Nate McMillan is a "bad coach". It has been decided. It doesn't matter what you actually accomplish, once the label of "good" or "bad" is out there the narratives will be twisted to explain it.

Boston has only played 12 home games. The teams ahead of them have played 17, 15, 16, 15 respectively. The 3 teams behind them have played 17, 17, and 16 at home.
