With Bron, how did the Lakers start the year?So do people in LA still prefer and think their team is better without Bron
Barclays is really dope. Everything that has been said about the venue and food is accurate. I went in 2017 on Super Bowl Sunday (Pats vs. Falcons) for a game against Toronto and was up in a suite with my boys and some random yambs. When I went to go sit down, I saw a dude below wearing a Matt Ryan jersey in the stands. I was pretty turnt so I started screaming at him and told him Matt Ryan isn’t worth ****, neither are the Falcons and they were gonna get washed. We go back and forth. I told him my squad’s QB (Joe Flacco) was elite and we kept going at it. I ended up handing him and his friend two of our tickets and told them to come through the suite to further discuss. They ended up coming through and we broke bread over some IPAs but they laughed my slander off and said they were definitely going to win.
When they were up 28-3, I am convinced they were watching the game, cursing me out, calling me a clown and bragging about how they were right and got free food and beer out of it. But then The GOAT QB came back and I KNOW those dudes were mad out of their minds because I was right about their QB, their franchise and big faced them with my charitable actions. Knowing they were wallowing in their incorrectness after a SB loss, even though it wasn’t to my team, was almost as good as my team winning. Almost.
You’re gonna have a good time at Barclays, buc.
40?? ...yo between that , your travels n the Porsche u living it up ...bout to drop that stack on the home team right now , inspired ! All I got from the last super bowl win was partying down fellsOnce Ray Lewis announced his retirement, I knew it was our year. I was telling everyone and no one took me seriously so I put a stack on us to win it at all at 40 to 1 odds. Andrew Luck. BULLY. Peyton. Pull up. Thomas. Never wants that Baltimore smoke (I went to that game in NE because I knew). Kaep. Chump change (almost copped tickets but would have rather watched on da 4K UHD with da homies I was about to prove wrong than drop stacks on suspect seats)
I got so ****ed up that night I didn’t realize what happened and woke up in my bed hungover AF thinking “Oh ****, I just won 40 of them thangs last night “. I got a feeling about this year too although I’m less vocal about it so I put a piece on us at 14/1.
I never been to ATL but I gotta make it out there during a free weekend in 2019 so I’ll definitely PM you when I do. Gotta get @wavycrocket to come through too B Sox as well #BaltimoreExcellence
I’m trying to do ratchet **** this year while I still can so my Houston NBA NTers stay on the lookout too.
NOLA on the list too @freddy fig . I 100% expect multiple cases of alcohol poisoning while partying with you for a weekend but I look forward to it.

I was #BBB’s but it’s time to pull the cord. 2nd year, jumper still broke, still lacks a strong handle, plays with little to no confidence on Offense
Also BI was, has been, and will always be fools gold.
And to think some of yalls goat left Cleveland to move west and still have a trash team. I think it’s clear, 16 years Bron in, is without a doubt, a worse GM than MJ
Coz Paul George is better. Why is Russell Westbrook not getting more love for MVP?
He's averaging a triple double for a top five team in the league.
Kuzma is their best pick and they trade Ratsell for him they made some sus moves but that Ratsell for Kuz deal aint one
No it was still a bad move.
When the trade happened....
The Nets had the 27th Pick. The Lakers had the 28th.
Prior to the DLo trade, the Nets had Lin & Dinwiddie as their PGs. Dinwiddie was nowhere near who he is now. And Lin was always a stop gap. Also LeVert was not even starter caliber yet.
The Nets were going to go guard. Nets writers have even said that Kuzma wasn’t on their board at 27.
Magic would have had Russell & Kuzma
The trade was essentially the Nets not taking Josh Hart, and eating Mozgov

There is zero reason as to why Lonzo and DLo couldn't have co-existed though, and you don't just give up a guy with that much potential for cap relief. That's the issue.Saying it’s a bad move is your opinion. I agree with you now because Zo sucks. But at the time, Magic liked Lonzo more than Dlo so he viewed the trade as getting cap relief and being able to draft a better player as Dlo’s replacement
Plus, we don’t know what the Nets demanded. Maybe they said “we want BI or Dlo” at which point the choice was obvious at that time.
Did I miss the point in basketball where triple doubles were meaningless? Where did this come from? He's having his worst shooting season since his second year in the league. He's been horribly inefficient. And, as we discovered a couple years ago, triple-doubles are pretty meaningless. He's not even the best player on his own team.

I 100 percent get this the front office pressured themYou do if you’re Magic Johnson and you were purely hired to land the big fish

The thing is Russell was always gon be traded as soon as Magic got on board...D Lo was done with that organization , at least they got something out of itNo it was still a bad move.
