Good luck moving that contract

It's better than Hayward's.

It will be easy to find a suitor for Wiggins. The issue will be the return. Would be interested to hear what industry insiders think, I have heard anything from a couple role players and a mid- first to just a first, to peanuts.

I disagree. Depends on the team rumored. If it’s boston, then all it will take is a second rounder and a copy of Danny Ainges EKG. If it’s the Lakers, insiders will suggest that it’s gonna require Kuzma, 4 first rounders and Bronny jr.

If Pop was willing to trade Kawhi to the Lakers they wouldn't even be in position to pair him with both Bron and AD. The irony is rich

Like i've stated i'm kind of doubtful on the Kawhi to the Lakers thing, but if he comes & leaves us with 3 of the top 5 players in the league after all this talk about Front offices & incompetence i am gonna die from laughter

#Yall really let Woj trick you into believing the Lakers won’t have room for a 30% max slot
There's been so much out it's hard to keep up... Aren't the Lakers only able to get to full-max by the Pellys agreeing to delay the trade out? The Pellys have no incentive to do that.

The trade will be finalized July 30th. Not even a question

I meant to say it even before the AD trade but I really hope you get to pop your **** this summer :lol :hat

Wiggins may eventually figure things out, but I think it'll be when he's around 27 or 28. By that time, he's an expiring contract. Some players to take a longer time to learn how to effectively use their body and skill (i.e. Rudy Gay). Rudy getting that Achilles injury may have forced him to learn more about his body and how to utilize his strengths more. Being on the Spurs helped as well.

TBH nobody really cares for Murray's opinion

id take RJ over zion as well if im trying to win asap. Zion has to add some important pieces to his game. RJ has all the pieces they just need to be sharpened. Zion can't dunk his way to a championship, dudes shooting need to improve by a good amount otherwise hes just blake griffin pre-detroit with chase down blocks.

edit: shouldnt have really said "just" cuz blake is awesome. especially now.

It gives New Orleans about 5 more mil in cap space but doesn't allow their #4 pick to play with Zion. In theory he could play for the Lakers summer league team like Wiggins did for the Cavs even though they traded him for Love.

I didn't trust Rob and co to get in the minutia of the trade seeing how much they gave up but we'll see. If the clown brain trust was putting this together and not consulting the cap guys in place, that's malpractice. The trade COULD be delayed but it could also not be. And then AD's trade kicker is up in the air as well.

I know Rob is an easy target but he knows how the cap & CBA works.

You are not allowed to “pre-condition” trades in the nba. You can’t have language that says, “if this happens then you’ll wait until x date”

If they came out and said that the nba could strike the trade down and not let it happen. Lakers ain’t risking ****. Just wait on it.

If/when the Lakers get a commitment for a 30% max, the trade will be executed to allow the Lakers to sign the 30% max and then trade for Unibrow.

Basically the earliest the trade can be completed is July 6. Free agency begins June 30th. The Pelicans can't include any language in the deal to the tune of 'we agree to this trade but you can't sign a max free agent'. The Lakers can do whatever the hell they want before July 6th. If/when they sign a 3rd max the trade HAS to wait until the 30th in order to include the 4th pick. Nola is basically at the Lakers mercy in this respect. The Lakers ability to sign free agents before July 6th dictates when the trade will be finalized.

Edit sohi 23 sohi 23 beat me to it

Then watch one of Lonzo/Ingram/Hart fail the physical rescinding the trade :rofl::rofl:
