KP is nowhere near on the level as AD or Kawhi. But I get the narrative in here so I won’t really argue it >D:wink:
Who said anything about him being on that level yet? AD and Kawhi weren't on that level their third years in the league.

KP's 50-game stretch before he got hurt looked like he was on the brink of being a Top 10-15 player in basketball Year 3.
I was moreso referring to the street fighting and rape accusations
:lol Fair enough. I haven't heard anything about the rape accusation in awhile. But the street fighting thing at least was pretty definitively not him being an idiot.

Still ridiculous they traded for DSJ after drafting Frank NT when everybody and their mama thought they were drafting DSJ.

Extremely short sided. It’s never a bad thing to have cap space. There are other things you can do with it besides sign free agents, like use your cap space to gather even more assets and if they roll it over into next next summer, they could strike.

There’s someone out there who’ll get disgruntled and demand a trade. A Star right now is unhappy.

Certain places just aren't destinations for free agents and stars, ATL is one of them.

That’s a fact. I actually might’ve forgotten bout the fact that forced trades can very well happen at any time & it’s better to get caught w/ it than w/o it

Half of the NBA’s player movement has been driven by disgruntled stars. CP3, AD, Kyrie, Kawhi,

All of those guys were traded. If you have the assets, which ATL is starting to gather, then it puts you in a great position to take a risk on one of those guys if / when they become available. This is why this upcoming year is so important for Atlanta. If they’re a playoff team which cheap assets, then they may be convinced to take a swing on a disgruntled star to come and play in the black mecca

He literally demanded a trade. I’m not sure why I’m wasting my characters actually
Because they’re trash. They did nothing with him. They messed up their only positive situation in the past 15 years. “Waste my characters” you’re more than welcome to keep that mouth shut. Please do

They got rid of him in a salary dump under the guise they'd get a max guy this summer. Member we were all saying when the trade went down they gotta know something to make this move now. Even coming off the injury and the friction you don't make that deal without knowing for sure you're getting at least one guy.

Here’s the thing...I honestly believe how the season ended and how the draft lottery ended up changed everything. If KD doesn’t go down and the Knicks end up with the #1 pick like their odds were slated to then I think you’re looking at KD-Kyrie-AD on the Knicks.

Instead, the Pelicans already had Zion in their possession, Kyrie wasn’t about to go play with Knox, DSJ and RJ Barrett for a year while KD rehabs and after the worst injury of his career the other team in NYC happens to have the doctors that operated on him previously.

The Knicks essentially got royally ****** over a two week period of time.

I don’t disagree with that. Few teams in the NBA actually are. But using that as a means for not building your team responsibly is silly.

It’s not like ATL is putting out a terrible product, and they may have drafted a star or two anyway. The Cap Space can be used to do more than just sign Tier 1 free agents. If ATL has money to spend, and are good, players will come. Guaranteed. And I’m the process of preparing for that, they’ll be ready to pounce the moment a Tier 1-3 star demands a trade should they choose to do so

Yea this ain’t it. Be safe though ... although you don’t really have to if you don’t wanna :lol

:lol You watched DSJ at all? You think that looks like a guy that's about to bud into a really impactful starting PG on a high-level team?

Just saying you never know :lol. I’m not gonna rule him out this early in the game fam

Ehh we'll see. In order to get any disgruntled star they'll have to give up some of that talent anyway. My point was more about them having cap space next summer in probably the worst free agent class in a decade.

Joe Johnson the only player I can remember that willingly went there.

So he needs to be Trae Young to have an impact. I see..............

Why do you keep quoting people about **** they didn't actually say?

I didn't say his "potential was guaranteed" in the first post...and didn't say he "needs to be Trae Young to have an impact". Just like dude didn't say KP was on AD, Kawhi, etc. level earlier.

Stop acting like Knicks Buc Em right now please

I’m just confused to the narrative in here. You didn’t say it, but you implied it. Cook on though.
