Once again, the only person to guarantee Kawhi to the Clippers wasMVP . He also said AD was not going to the Lakers multiple times. He also has said Kawhi is not going to the Lakers over and over again. Unless he is also getting pid by Ballmer. The last month was worst case scenario for the Clippers.

Definitely not. Jrue has always worked best with a point guard like Lonzo (Rondo and Elfrid) and both of them should work great with Zion. Plus Jrue will be an awesome vet influence on Zion, Lonzo and Ingram.

Did I miss something? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the Lakers traded DLo because of the snitching he did turning the lockerroom against him. What other options did the Lakers have in that situation.

OK. Just take the best three or four guards off the market, then yeah.
I still think I'd build that roster out waaaay differently than the Lakers are going to end up doing it. If I'm them I'm looking around and not really seeing the need for a third star and another big mouth to feed. But they're clearly not thinking that way.
Eh if it comes down to giving 31 year old Pat Bev 12-14 mil/JJ Redick 12 mil (which is apparently what the market is going to dictate). I'd rather get a 3rd star below the 32 max number and get one more decent piece and fill the rest of the roster with vet ring chasers. D'Lo at 23 years old at the max is better than Kemba at 30 years old at the max.

Comparing In-his-prime Durant coming off a 3-1 lead against GS to a 23 year old Dlo coming off his rookie contract doesn’t make sense.
If you’re saying why did that **** matter for Durant and not Dlo it’s simple: Kevin Durant is one of the best players of all time and shifts the balance of power in the nba with his movement.
Dlo would be a 3rd option lol.

That was part of it, but like the KP trade ultimately it was a salary dump to get space for 2 max guys (supposed to be Bron and PG).
