May & June they’re gonna be giving 40 mins to arguably the worst high volume 3 point shooter ever, and another 30 mins to Capela. They should prioritize shooting at this point, I think

Over a series they’d have a difficult time outshooting a team like the Clippers or Golden State, maybe even Utah from deep
He could have helped their defense. They need shooting and defense

Think it'll be situational. Pat's shooting, rebounding, and defense may put him in closing lineups more so than Lou I think.

Pat / Kawhi / PG / Green / Trez

Pat / Kawhi / PG / Harkless / Trez

Pat / Kawhi / PG / Harkless / Green

There's a lot the Clips can do as far as closing lineups are concerned but the more I think about it the harder it is for Lou to be in there. Obviously if he's hot or is having a really good game we're rolling

I also am almost positive that this isn't close to the final version of the Clippers roster that they'll take into the playoffs.

Yea that's what I'm thinking. Harkless and Green are gonna play late in a lot of games.

Hark was such a steal for yall. :smh:

And somebody said he's in the wrong era? He's literally the perfect modern big.

If he played in a different era, his impact would be a tad bit more magnified. There's a reason why guys like Dame and Harden, Kawhi, etc. can lead their teams to 50 plus wins while Anthony Davis can't, despite being just as talented / good.

He's the perfect modern big...but he's still a big.

Guards
Bigs

The last time a "big" won the MVP was 2004 KG

It would be kinda cool to see another one win just for a change. But yeah, like I said before, it's more difficult for a guy like AD because he isn't the one initiating also to P C H P C H point

Jokic got a better chance than AD imo

lebron putting the keys in AD’s hands this season

Does Harrell grade out as a good defender? Never thought of him much of one.

Eye test? No. At all. He has the aesthetic, and he has long arms that help, but he's still really small, and undisciplined on that end. Big reason why he can't be a starter.

Dont have the numbers but what makes him so effective offensively doesn't really work defensively.

Being super aggressive leaves you out of position or in foul trouble (if he played more minutes.).

Not according to PIPM nor Real Plus Minus

For now he's the type of player you "expect" to be a switchable rim protector but not there

Like he looks switchable, but he has poor, choppy, overly active feet, easy to blow by, and is a foul magnet is he has to play extended minutes against 'real' bigs.

He's not the worst when it comes to being switchy and the playoffs proved he can play extended minutes as a 5 defensively, but like...if he were a legit good defender this season it'd be considered an improvement IMO.

Giannis is a big in every sense. And he was played like one in the playoffs.

AD is Giannis with an actual jumper word to the homie BIG LEEMELONE BIG LEEMELONE .

The league would lose so much money if they shortened the schedule. With so much talent spread around now, road attendance should also go up. I can't see the owners going for that.
The regular season is boringly long but there’s no going back, I don’t think. The balance of power around the league should help ease the issues of the last few years for sure.

RE: AD... he’s obviously insanely talented and he’s a great player. But dudes screaming he’s one of like 5-7 guys in the league that can be the best guy on a title team are just way ahead of themselves IMO. He’s made the playoffs 2x in 7 years. Seems fair to question, at some level, how much he actually impacts winning on a consistent basis. New Orleans hasn’t surround him with championship talent, for sure. But guys that are viewed at that level overpower long stretches of the season and will their teams to the playoffs. AD just hasn’t done that.

I'd rather the nba season be short.

Watching Zion play hard every minute of every game in college makes me want this.

Zion can play that hard in college cuz the games are shorter and the season is shorter with less games.

He can't play that intense playing 35-40 minutes a night for 82 games. No one can. That's why these dudes coast. If they don't, they burn out or get hurt.

I really think less games would increase the quality of the games.
