Official 2019 NYK offseason thread. Brooklyn knick fans check in

Can't blame Vonleh, guarding Jokic looks harder than guarding Giannis.

single-handedly lost thanks to mudiay going for his revenge game lmao

Mudiay def tried a little too hard to take over there in the end. Jokic seems real annoying to guard. Great talent.

I did notice he was going for a bit more hero ball especially in the last minute when the game was sort of in reach. Saw him look off a few open players to drive or take his own shot :lol

He clearly wanted to be the one to push it to OT or win it for us.

Not even mad at him since we lost.

Hardaway Jr has went from trying to play the hero to just sitting in the background scared. Weird.

He has to be hurt in some way. Only explaination.

doesn't he have a shoulder injury?

the Nets have a bunch of players on expiring deals. we should try to move Lee and maybe a future 2nd rounder for either Carroll, Dudley (eff that guy), or Faried. each of them are on the last year of their deals, and their salaries are all close to Lee's. Wes Matthews and KCP are also on expiring deals. the Mavs and Lakers can probably use Lee too. hell, trade Lee and Frank for Wes and a pick, since the Mavs loved Frank so much.

Enes Kanter Meets With Scott Perry To Discuss Future With Knicks

Enes Kanter met with Scott Perry on Monday to discuss his role with the New York Knicks moving forward.

Kanter's role has diminished as he continues in the final season of his contract while making $18.6 million.

"I did not say, 'Scott, trade me.' No I did not say that,'' Kanter told reporters. "Because I like it here a lot. And I probably won't say to Scott's face, 'Scott I want to get traded.' Because I like it here a lot.

"But again, in the end, we all are competitors, basketball players. I like it here so much, but again I want to win. I want this team to get to the playoffs one day. This is my blood, man, I'm sorry. If anyone asks anything else, I'm not going to do it. I'm going out there to get a win every time."

Kanter said he is more upset by the Knicks' losses than being out of the lineup.

"All this anger and frustration is coming from losing,'' Kanter said. "It's not fun to lose 12, 13, whatever in a row. It's not fun. It's just tough, man. But obviously I had a meeting with Scott [Monday]. We talked about -- he just said, 'You know, this is the growth. This is one of your biggest tests in your career, so just try to be a good teammate.'

"I even asked Scott, if you were in my situation, what would you do?'' the 26-year-old added. "He said, 'The whole league knows you. Right now, we know that you are a very, very good basketball player. Now I want you to go out there and try to have that good character, try to be a good teammate, and try to help all the people.' I understand we're not winning a lot right now. But I guess it's all for the young guys."

He's been playing great for a while now.

That injury is the only thing that has held him back. He's exactly the kind of player we could use.

And Kanter is a damn idiot. Get him outta here. He's gonna end up riding the bench in a much worse position and probably be forced to resign for much less. He doesn't know how to shut up and play his part.

for ****s and giggles...do you think we'd be better, worse, or the same if we drafted Booker instead of KP? i was looking at the 2015 draft class and KAT, DLo, KP, and Booker are really the only all start level talent players to come out. Miles Turner has potential too.
