Official 2019 NYK offseason thread. Brooklyn knick fans check in

Any possibility of us trading the #1 or #2 pick for multiple picks and still being able to get Ja Morant?

Where is he predicted to fall in the draft?

For me ...

I'm good with Frank Mudaiy or Burke as a PG if we had AD and KD. A lot of the scoring pressure would be release and all they would have to do is set and pass, shoot when they are open.

However, I would rather have KP+KD+KX starting lineup which would help getting some good roll player for second unit.

Kemba is 2x the player Rozier is

That's likely but if we were top heavy with a KP-Zion-Knox then Rozier is def solid enough and comes with half the price. We seen Rozier running the show deep in the playoffs already and is a good defender. Rozier price tag would allow us to still get a valuable piece off the bench

AD & KD both need good PG play to be really effective.

Look at the Warriors without Steph when KD is their #1A, they're not even an elite team. 11-6 without Steph, 40 -10 with him.

And AD has been putting up crazy numbers and going nowhere without an all-star cast.

I don't think any of the PGs we currently have now would maximize their talents.

Hell, if Knox ends up being a 23+ ppg guy, we don’t even need to break the bank on KD. Might as well use the money to get quality players overall and have a legit 8/9 rotation similar to Boston.

I think KP plus fillers for AD is more than enough. No other package they’ll get comes close.

No need to trade the #1 pick.

need a good pg that will be solid not great... teams recently havent won a chip with the PG being the best player on the team... the exception is chauncey, parker and curry... i want kemba on this team but 40 million a year plus hes 30 is tough to buy into

Man they need to make FA before the draft. That way we can move the #1 pick for someone like Lillard, if we get a big time FA

Let’s say we draft RJ with the second pick, with Zion going first. If that teams offer Zion for RJ and Frank, do you do it? I wouldn’t even hesitate.

lebron was the best player on the cavs chip team... and curry was the best player on the first one and KD the next 2... meanwhile you had guys like cp3 and russ didnt get far in the playoffs without harden and KD

Only thing that scares me about RJ, he Canadian. But dude can ball.

If we had second and we want to secure 1st for Zion, I would swap draft picks this years. Our first next and THJR/Lee/Kanter ... they would have to take something for our first rounder. Maybe something else if it's a second rounder.
