Official 2019 NYK offseason thread. Brooklyn knick fans check in

It's crazy how literally none of those players were ever back to normal. KD will be 32?33? by the time he's maybe back at full strength.

I think its a risk still worth taking.

Nah, I think that ship's sailed for me. It could work out, and would be nice to tank the first year and grab another high pick, but I dunno man. Rather just grow things naturally.

this is completely stupid.
what do the knicks have to do with any of this???

if it was on the knicks time it would've been cause to complain instead of how things panned out last night?

grade a smart dumb **** right there

That’s what I was “spewing” last night. The whole “**** everybody” mentality is so ignorant. Doesn’t matter who he plays for. I appreciate the sport and I care when one of the best players in the world get hurt, regardless of his jersey.

Wtf are you talking about bro. I'm saying we didn't lose anything if we never even had it in the first place so why even feel bad about it. You're the grade A dumb **** here.

This KD injury is really up there for me in terms of emotional hurt similarly to when we found out Cleanthony Early got shot

The Knicks should just build their team properly especially with the recent KD injury. I think the core of Knox, RJ, DSJ, Mitch and Vonleh is worth developing. If they can get Kawhi and Kemba, I would sign them. Otherwise, KD is too much of a risk especially with the Knicks history of injured traded players (eg, Bargnani, Stoudemire, Noah, Rose).

Knicks need to go all in this free agency (with Durant) b/c next year your best player out there is DeRoson, assuming who ever (AD approved team) gets AD in a Trade is locked in for an extension. Then you have Lowry, Hayward oh boy this class sucks.

Knicks should still offer KD a long term deal, just not the max deal.

KD at 70% is still one of the better players in the NBA. If he’ll take a pay cut with a team friendly contract and pair him up with RJ our future will still be gold.

If all that happens - let KD sit all next year and keep developing the young guns. Hopefully we get another decent pick and we’ll be on our way.

He would never because I guarantee you multiple teams are still going to offer him the max this summer

Teams that come to mind that’d be desperate/dumb enough to do it are the Nets, Mavs & Lakers

If we want free agents we gotta turn 200% of our attention to Kawhi

Keep in mind that KD won't be back on a basketball court till he's 32. Then he'll have to get back into the swing of things. Do you really wanna still take that risk?

Which one of you bozos is at the Yankees game right now?
