This goes both ways. The kids reach out to their HS/7 on 7 coaches (or trainers) to express their dissatisfaction
While at the same time coaches are periodically keeping in contact w/ those same people and checking in on the kid, gauging how happy he is and letting them know that he has a spot at their school (where of course they’d treat him better)
Very rarely do I think there is direct contact w/ the kid (w/o using some 3rd party) especially not via normal means like their ‘school provided’ phone, email or social media
