I think what we seeing in this series is the shortcomings of the Hawks having only one real reliable star. Hawks have shown they can beat teams that only have one real reliable star like the Knicks and the 6ers. But the Bucks got 2 really 3 cause any given night it could be Middleton or Holiday that gets 30+ along with Giannis. We will need at least one other real reliable star to compete at this level.

Do I think we need to make a move for a guy like that this offseason with a trade? Nah not really with how young this team is I think it's fine to sit back a year and hope and see what another year of healthy Hunter and Reddish looks like and if they match whatever Collins is offered see if he can improve his game even more. Do I think it would be a bad idea to test the waters and maybe see what's out there? See what you'd need to give up for Zach LaVine maybe? Probably won't happen I don't know the ins and outs of how to make the money and contracts work and don't think we would could even offer better that what other teams could offer that the bulls would want but nothing wrong with tryin to see what's up.

I get that, but who is out there that is both disgruntled and a good roster fit?

No one really comes to mind that fits both of those which is the main reason why my first thought is we don't need really need to try to make that kinda move this off season cause it might not be worth it. LaVine came to mind as a good fit, I think he would be a great fit personally but I don't think he's disgruntled like that I think he's cool with being in Chicago haven't seen anything that would make me think otherwise but I don't follow the bulls that closely to know that.

What's the starting point on Beal? Hunter/Huerter/picks and a whole lot of salary? Whatever it is kills your depth, but I get it.

Lavine would be easier to acquire, but him off the ball with Trae? Feel like that's a weird fit. Might be what he needs but still.

But I'm still a believer in talent trumps all. Any other reliable scorer/star would have them at the top of the East for as long as Trae stays/extension kicks in. Especially with them running with the Bucks now and Brooklyn may be fineto after next season.

I'd S&T Collins in a heartbeat. I don't see any consistency with him. Get your bag, but his only appeal to me is as a small ball 5 and I don't see it right now.

Call me crazy but if I'm the Hawks I wouldn't make the trade. If there is a way you can move Collins and get Beal I say do it. But I'd try to keep those young wings.

I like Zach in Atlanta. He shot 50% from on catch and shoot shots this last season. You’d have to get a defensive minded 3 and 4 guy though. I’m all for it

assuming you give up Hunter. Zach and trae are gonna get destroyed on d. **** willl be a movie on the other end since zach took a step

Yea I wouldn’t be comfortable with any move that would require giving up Hunter right now. Maybe I’m too much of a believer and it’s blinding me from seeing the upside of a move but I wouldn’t wanna move him. I like the idea of sign and trade for Collins tho...I think Hunter could play the 4 as well tbh if we do sign and trade Collins
