I expect Carson Beck to be a Heisman contender

I don't know about that. He was very noncommittal about USCs success for 2023 and we felt better going into 2023 then we probably do going into 2024.
Yeah I felt we'd go about 9-3 last year but didn't think the defense would be as abysmal as it was.

I'm actually pretty high on what our defense will look like next year, but it's just gonna be a worse overall roster talent-wise. You can't overstate how much losing Caleb meant.

THAT said, we're going to be much better coached and UW is going to be pretty bad, Michigan is gonna be replacing their OL, JJ, Corum, and hopefully Harbaugh, and we get Penn State at home. If we can scrape by LSU I think 9-3 is actually pretty doable, and Brian Kelly for some reason blows in season kickoffs and bowl games, so it's not impossible that we're 2-0 heading to Ann Arbor.

According to most sports books he has some of the highest odds going into the season. He is the starting quarterback of what will likely be the number one team in the nation going into the season, it's not a far-fetched and I expect him to perform well. Stetson Bennett was a Heisman finalist
