Achiuwa & Shamet missed a lot of time, McBride missed a couple weeks, Robinson still a few weeks away; a lot of the minutes have been by necessity. Think Thibs also wanted to build chemistry with the new players and with limited practice time, it had to be done in game.

Really like the rotation & minutes distribution the last few games, though. Last night was pretty much a perfect game.

And no surprises there haven’t been any minutes for the rookies. They got their chance, short leashes like every other young player fresh on the scene, but none are as nice as IQ was & son was the anomaly as far as those minutes. It’s diminishing returns the more time they get & the team is talented. I’d be worried if it came to them being relied on heavy.

That said, I wouldn’t hesitate to trade alladem now for another player in their prime to give the bench even more depth. And give Thibs more problems and decisions.
