Got my lows in yesterday got em on the court today and I got no heel slip. I got some movement in the heel internally but no slip. As far as adidas shoes they remind me of the harden 3 with a more targeted cushion setup.

That’s not just MJ, that’s the great shooting guard lineage. AJ1? Classic. AJ2? Trash and the sig athlete hated it. Adi Kobe 1? Semi Classic. Adi Kobe 2? Trash and the sig athlete hated it. So much so that he bought out his ******* contract so he could go elsewhere LMAO and MJ almost left Nike after the 2 as well.

Me too, there has been way too many mockups and colorways popping up for it to just not be anything of a scrapped model this late in the game. Now, could it be a takedown model? Sure. But I’m starting to think it’s legitimately the two.

As high as you can go in basketball. Now, that doesn’t mean it isn’t some PR speak, but that’s what I have been told.

I trust duke and others that have reported the leaked pics floating, more recently flooding, around aren’t the AE 2s, but I’ve also worked with adidas in the past and I’m a little skeptical just given my history with them and their own history with saying one thing but doing another. They aren’t super consistent or all that trustworthy.

That said, designing a shoe from start to finish takes 18-24 months. I believe the first leaks of the 2s happened early 2024 so if they are redesigning it, the earliest we’d see the redesigned 2 is early 2025 or mid 2025 which tracks since the AE 1 release cycle is extending through at least early 2025.

Anyway, just got my lows in and wow, I hate how much I like them. They feel a little bit lighter than the mids but they’re still on the heavy side (17.75oz for size 11 US). But similar to the mids, the lows don’t feel super heavy on foot. You don’t really notice the weight all that much.

If you’re still on the sidelines on this sig, WTF are you waiting for?! They sell out within days/a couple weeks and all the colorways have been mostly good. I honestly feel a little bit like I’m cheating adidas by getting this shoe at $110. It’s the same price as Dunks! Murals are next on my list and then I gotta be more picky about the colors I pick up in the lows.
